Good quality and range of products, knowledgeable, enthusiastic staff. Too much foot traffic for my taste, and not a great location.
Prices are all over $20 a gram when you go in. Old weed, months old, and dry weed.

Got there on day 3, one of the last to get Opal, the only selection remaining. Staff was courteous. Definetly paid the donation price for limited supply, but excited to partake in the first legal rollout in Washington!
It was my first time going to cannabis city and it was not as bad as what the other review said. I got to the store 12 minutes before it opened and there were about 8 people in line. By the time the store opened the line grew to around 25 people. The service was great. Usually a person would come in and go out within 30 to 40 sec. I bought a gram and a lighter and the cashier was nice enough to provide 10 cents to round the total to the nearest dollar. The cannabis was around $34 but I’m not complaining. Overall, the store is pretty likable

They are starting to have more and more bud in stock. Remember guys, it's not their fault that they don't have a lot of flower. Anyways, I got 2 grams of Blue Dream and a JuJu Joint. The Blue Dream was fresh and it was great. The JuJu Joint is nice, discreet, and pre-filled. Will probably come back again.
The menu was stable for the last couple of days and deceided to go for the first time. Arrived 45 minutes before opening time 12 noon. Was about 20 to 30th person waiting. Line got considerbly long until opening time. Got my 2 grams of Alice in Wonderland and $10.00 glass one hit pipe. Everyone that is complaining about cost, shortages, etc. should think about being lucky to purchase a commodity legally. Give it time it will only get better.
The people seem pretty cool. some of them seem to have a little too much of an ego for selling weed legally and expect customers to deal with whatever, wait however long(even in-store while employee is counting cash.....?) Weed or not that is just bad customer service. Over all friendly and helpful. Store is small and could have more of an attractive vibe. feng shui that mofo! Prices are my least favorite and the lack of choice due to pre packaged product. i think they may do this for self serving reasons(to reach a certain profit by making us buy 2 grams at a time) A customer likes to feel in control. I want to support this process but if the prices dont eventually come down I won't. Kudos to everyone that got the store open and weed sold though. Now MASTER THE CRAFT
These guys need a bigger location, some parking would be nice. Other than that I can't complain. I was looking to try dabbing for the first time and they were very friendly, helpful, and informative about it. I ended up checking out a place across town because it has a better deal currently on BHO, but I will probably continue to shop at Cannabis City if the price is right. ^^ And... they gave me a sticker!! :D
I was able to buy 2 grams. I arrived at 11:45 and the line was short. I enjoyed talking to the other people in line. Saw a number of out of state license plates. I look forward to the day when supply catches up with demand. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will be back.
I went on opening day. They did a great job handling the line...they handed out bottled water, they kept us informed about what was going on, and the nearby Subway was there taking orders. All in all, things went very well that day. The shop is small and at the moment the cases only seem to have herb and glassware. They had samples to smell of the 3 herbs they were offering and the product came in a nice black, silver lined resealable bag with the herb's details on front. All of the staff I came in contact with were professional and friendly, the store seemed clean. The herb I got is very good quality. However, there wasn't any Sattiva available yet when I went. I'll visit again when it becomes available.
I was there on opening day and there was still product for me to purchase. This was my first time ever buying any weed, so I can not attest to it's quality so am giving it a 3, but I thought that the service and atmosphere was top notch. Yes this is Seattle's only retail establishment, but I will be returning.
Stopped by on 2 occasions. 1 of them had to wait in a brief line, the other not at all. Supply is sporadic (so far), but reliable product when in. Watch the website, that's all I can say. Keep on patronizing legal recreational shops. We are headed to nationalized legalization, and you the customer are part of the solution!
I've been meaning to go and today was the day! 1) Guy checking IDs at the door was an entertainer 2) Clientele seemed happy 3) Selection didn't seem to be a key strength, but they weren't out of the good stuff 4) there's a fair amount of homage being paid to Hendrix and bongs going on here, yeah! 5) It's a get in and get out kind of a place where you can get some advice and smiles along the way.
Thought I would give the only store in Seattle a chance. Every time I went long lines decided to bite the bullet and wait just to say I did it. The shop is small and they only had LIMITED SUPPLY. Only one strain and limited in purchase options. Got 1 gram it was ok way over priced. The second time I went stood in line it took a customer leaving the store to inform us they had no product. In my option the store is pretty worthless. There is a place in Bothell on Bothell - Everette Highway that has awesome stock, nice store, and an excellent staff.
Haven't been back since they opened, but looking forward to going again.
Good store, products, and nice employees. Only issue right now is the sparse supply. Not their fault and better than almost any other rec. dispensary. But for now you will be standing in line at least 45 minutes.

I waited in line forever because of the supply issue at the moment but the crowd was lively and we had fun. The service was amazing and everyone was exceptionally helpful/nice. I'll be back here soon.
Cannabis City is a clean and minimalist store with friendly staff keeping those in line updated on the situation while rationing to meet the demand.
Eh over priced 1 and 2 i smoke better product in my non medical state. Such a poor way to handle "legal marijuana"
I think you guys are great for providing the "trim" lower price point products. I will continue to visit your store as long as I can supplement the high priced flowers with lower priced trim or shake.
To be fair, I don't have much experience with other dispensaries but I have had decent experiences buying from here.
