Majority of the staff is nice but they have a couple bad apples with poor attitudes. Im paying 60 for an eigth so the least you can do is treat people with respect. If you don't like working with the public, than get a new job. Random BS strains that you shouldnt waste your money on. Unless they have something special, save your money and go to your weedman or elsewhere.
Ratings and reviews of Caroline's Cannabis- Uxbridge
Since Caroline's opened, the location has been a mess with menus and staff. I don't think there has been a time where the staff was conversational in the least. Numerous times staff is too busy conversing amongst themselves rather than paying attention to the customers. The menu online is not up to date daily and you will only know what they have once you arrive. I've had it happen numerous times of rushing customers in and out when you haven't even seen what they have to offer. The new Covid pickup service is not up to par by any means. Online it makes it seem it's a quick pick up, but that is deceiving. Once your order is placed and you have a pick up time, you have to check in, park in the parking lot and wait even longer for another pick up number to be called. Waiting for over an hour after waiting is not worth anyone's time. If there's a pickup time that's when the order should be READY, not the time to show up and wait again. Prices are the highest around as well. Being local to town I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
I can't say enough good things about this place. Prices are good, staff and owner are absolutely fantastic and they always have a great selection. Online menu could use a bit more attention, but if that's all that's wrong than I'm fine with that. Always get accurate info and product has always been excellent. I will continue going here, they get to know you and its like a little family. You have my business
After a 35 minute drive and another 25 minute wait in the heat I got in. The strongest flower on the menu was Lemon Haze, listed at 24% THC on the menu. Cashier, named Maureen P. on my receipt, was miserable and clearly did not want to be there. I order a couple 1/8ths of the LH, which she puts in a bag and shoves my way. I get out to my car, only to see the label says the LH actually tested at 20% THC, almost 20% lower than it was listed on the menu. Great, so much for getting lit. I get home and open it, to find some nice sticks and a ton of leaves to go with my bud. At $60, you could at least sell manicured buds, list the actual THC content so I know what I'm buying, and not be miserable about it. This was my 6th time here, and after this experience, along with the rough smoking buds I got the last two times here, definitely my last. At least the security guard here is awesome, although they could get the poor guy an umbrella and a chair so he doesn't cook.
Caroline's is fantastic. hey, even snoop loved it.
This place was amazing and the budtender was amazing! I love the jars with the magnifying glass so you can take a look at the product....it’s definitely worth the ride
Similar to others I was greeted by a locked door with no instruction. I waited a few minutes and then an older guy opened the door and signaled for me to come in. I looked up at the board for the thc% and based my purchases on that. Like others - the percentages on the board are SIGNIFICANTLY higher and exaggerated. I got four carts - the lowest thc percentage listed on the board was 74%. The highest thc % was 60%!!! The other 3 were low 50’s. The main reason I went here was for the high percentage/quality carts. This was my first and last visit to carolines. Small, cramped inside, employee scanned and bagged wrong item so I had to get that fixed, when asking for recommendations from the employee he was basically useless. Buds - like everyone else said - trimmed in a way that favors the dispensary. Several gross trimming pieces thrown in. Strain stated it was from 5/19 so obviously crispy and stale. Overall I was just really disappointed. When you pay as much as you do you expect care and quality. Ultimately- posting deceiving thc percentages that were WAY off says a lot about the business in my opinion. The reason you come to a dispensary is to find the quality and care you pay for. This was absolutely a first and last.
Good spot. Good bud. Good people. Good prices.
The first time I visited on a Thursday morning. The second time it was a Wednesday. There wasn't too long a wait either day; I was in and out in an hour or less. Parking is next to the shop; no shuttles involved (at least not on a weekday). Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. I went there looking for tinctures, which, as another reviewer mentioned, are hard to find at places that do both medical and recreational. I completely understand that places need to reserve tinctures for their medical patients, and I certainly wouldn't want to take a pain reliever that a cancer patient needs, but there are those who either can't take conventional prescriptions or who aren't being helped by conventional prescriptions who need to find out if MMJ would help before they go through the expense of trying to get a medical card. I don't know if my chronic pain would qualify me for a medical card, and I'm not willing to shell out approximately $300 to get one (annual card registration fee, certification by doctor) until I'm sure that MMJ will address my problem. Having the ability to try out some of the THC remedies first is a godsend. (They also have THC/CBD mixtures.) The prices for flower and some edibles seem to be a little cheaper than Cultivate in Leicester. The edibles are about the same. Both of them now carry salves, which is the next format I want to try. As someone said, though, it would be better if they could update their inventory on their web page (or here) more often. I check it in the morning before I leave and as long as they're showing any tinctures, gummies, lozenges, or salves, I'll chance it and go in since it's a nice drive for me. Thank you, Caroline. I'm so happy to be able to find what I need without going for a medical card and I'm happy to support a small, woman-owned business away from city congestion.
The owner (Steve not his wife) was a complete obnoxious ass to me. He thinks the COVID-19 pandemic is a hoax. Enough said.
very dingy, can't find any menu updates on leafly for the past year. Their own website does not have accurate information. The only way you can see what they got is if you make it through the front door, then you will see a chalk board that's supposed to be a menu but looks like a 3 yr old wrote all the information. clearly about the cash, no consideration to how their customers get updates on products or ACTIVE MENUS!!
Holy jesus, guys. This is the literal worst, i'd rather buy from my weed buy and smoke reggie all week. Now, on with the review. I can see why you guys shelled out the $50,000+ just to have Snoop Dogg come stop by and light your best quality mids, that wouldn't touch GC's Blue Dream, or Cult's Trop Cookies. +The ONE positive I have is the dude that I had ring me out. Super friendly and interested in my conversation with him. Now to the nightmare. -To call Caroline's a sardine tin would be a disservice to the tins that keep sardines perfectly fine. The lines are long, and I thought I was claustrophobic from Curaleaf Oxford until I came here. This is smaller than a vestibule on an RV. -The chalkboard. The chalkboard that is often smudged of incorrect on %. Knowing how THCA/etc vary by batch, I don't typically mind. But I bought what was "23%" it was about 17? Thanks for that. -Selection is the smallest I have seen, and I've used the online delivering And the only good products you carry already come from Cultivate and Nature's Remedy; places miles ahead of whatever is going on. *Please, streamline this somehow. I understand Massachusetts compliance as well, but this is spitting in the face of the same people who fund this mall kiosk.*
Great bud tenders the guy at the door can usually give you the low down on the strains and the menu That is always packed with different Strains. When I’m in the area I always stop in. Quality is great, the price is fair and the people are nice.
I absolutely love this place! Everybody there from Caroline herself to the security outside has been nothing but the kindest, hardest working people in any retail store!!
After driving 45 minutes, I stood in the hot sun for 45 minutes only to be led into what I would charitably describe a broom closet. They don't even try to make you comfortable with a vending machine for water or shading from the sun. It was a tiny space in a large building. I bought two strains and both were full of twigs and tiny buds. The lemon haze strain was listed as 24% thc but it was only 20%. They had a strain on the menu written Dosidos (it's spelled Do-Si-Dos). It had one large bud and a bunch of twigs and small buds. The woman behind the counter was a miserable human being who knew nothing about the strains. I bought both, tried each, and if it was a dealer I'd smack 'em across the face. Both were completely dried out with no sticky buds or residue. Lousy high. Will have to try a different store. Won't be going back. And Caroline the owner was no place to be found. What a dump for such expensive products. Stay away.
The product has been great (3 visits now), I’ve mostly purchased cartridges. I purchased a pax era today and couldn’t be happier with that decision. Service has been very helpful, but it’s helpful to the point where it becomes a major lag in the purchasing process. There is a serious need for an order ahead or “I already know what I want” line. This location has 2 registers only, which is slow to begin with. Then add to that the people who are amazed by the whole process and ask every question their heart can possibly think of. It’s incredibly annoying for people who just want to get their product and leave. Please make a separate line for gawkers and another for people who want to be hasty. As annoying as the idea sounds, places that require appointments have been far more convenient in my experience.
there always seems to be a problem their menus never correct
The "woman" at the door needs to get her attitude checked... just because you are the only place that doesnt have a seperate line for medical patients doesnt mean you can tell someone to "get lost and go to the back of the line". Worst customer service EVER at a dispensary. Will Definately be leaving reviews of this terrible place on every site I can find.
The shop was good but I got a cartridge that was only filled 3/4 of the way went to exchange it today after I was told my an employee they would be happy to exchange it when I got there I was told that the product weighed more so whether the cartridge was filled or not that it was still a 1/2 g probably won’t be back after this I feel taken advantage of
Took a trip after seeing my favorite strain in a pre roll on Caroline's website. got there very early afternoon after seeing my favorite was there online. (Carolines opens at 11AM) just to wait in a lone of 10 people that took 25 minutes because they only let 4-6 people in at a time. I get inside and am told the maximum purchase amounts. I anxiously approach the counter to buy my favorite strain that I haven't had I months to learn that they only have 2 of the 6 online advertised pre rolls in stock and they were barely even open for 2 hours with customer limits!......I drove a long way there to not eve. hey what I wanted. when I told the lady at the register that I only wanted one pre roll (one that I never even intended on buying I just didnt want my trip to be completely for nothing) she says "that is it?". Yup because I drove all the way here and stood around to be let down. this rec shop has been doing rec for almost a month and cant even hold stock for their first 3 hours open with customer limits. Very disappointing. probably will never come back or do business at this shop again. would lot reccomend to anyone unless you like being disappointed.
Reopening was a total disaster. They apparently had zero ability to control the scheduling part of the online order so after showing up twice only to find out I was hours away from the time provided I cancelled the order. Obviously not a well thought out or executed idea.
Thoughtful staff, reasonable prices, highly recommend, very accommodating and informational
False advertising, thc content on the label of my product was 3% lower than advertised on the chalkboards. Edibles are weak and overpriced, even compared to other price gouging MA dispensaries. My overpriced 8th was half a gram short. Really wanted this place to be good because horrible NIMBY scumbags are keeping dispensaries out of my area. Another disappointing MA dispensary.
Everyone here has a collective opinion: Caroline needs to read Leafly and understand that the reason the had to probably pay snoop thousands to visit is because they can’t maintain quality, service, or atmosphere. Here’s my takeaway, friends (obviously I’m going to recommend anywhere else) ...I’d rather smoke resin.
