I used to think the world of this place. Budtenders are amazing, you won't be disappointed with any of them. Jared, Kheyla, Justin and Brandon are excellent managers most of the staff made this business enjoyable for both customer and other employees. I shopped here for years before becoming a budtender for a little over 3 months. Then I came to work one day and before even coming into the building I was haulted at the door with two managers I had a lot of respect for while I worked there, whom at that point allowed me to come in for my twelve hour shift and fire me before even stepping into the building. They called this severing employment so instead of giving me a reason as to why they were firing me they didn't have to give an explanation as to why. Blows my mind honestly. I signed my termination paperwork turned around and asked for an explanation and was told that they don't have to give me an explanation for severing employment. I have four children and if I were to have left I would have been expected to give two weeks notice but them however can just fire me with absolutely no warning won't tell me what I did wrong I covered any shifts they asked me to come in for, I showed plenty of respect. I broke my thumb/wrist in a small area and they stuck me on front door shift for weeks without even consulting me and asking me if that's what I needed to do they did not even ask me if I broke my thumb before changing my schedule I mind you, they took the word from one of my coworkers and switched my shifts to compliance from a budtender before I even got to come in for my next shift. My last day there I wrote Patricia if we could please change my shifts to budtender shifts the next week and she told me she would adjust my shifts for me and then the next day proceeds to fire me. I want to just add that the reason switching me from budtender to compliance is actually garbage without consulting me first is because we make tips as budtenders and 13.65 an hour and the front door when you rely on tips as a budtender everyday is a hard hit on someone who has four kids I have to feed every day. I'm an excellent budtender, with actual knowledge of product but I'm also a strong woman who voiced that I felt it was unfair to get stuck on compliance when really tips are the perk of the entire job..... They absolutely refuse to listen to their employees when the palisade store is failing miserably because people think the place is closed all the time because Grand Junction got new dispos so now people drive right by the store shorting their employees even more when you could help yourselves and do some sales, park some cars up front, throw some kind of light in the window so people don't just drive right by but hell, keep praying for customers.... Every budtender there has to clean the same shit over and over and over like little cleaning slaves just to fill their 12 hour shifts because there's hardly any customers any more we might as well have been maids not budtenders.... 🤷🏼‍♀️ You can only clean the same glasss so many times. a lot more going on behind the scenes at the Colorado Weedery, the owners should absolutely take a stronger look at who they have running the palisade store atleast, I won't be giving them my business anymore and neither will anyone I know personally. I have love for most of the employees there so I can guarantee if you do go there your budtender is going to take care of you, but I can assure you they are not getting taken care of themselves and are super disposable to their main manager. I garentee I will forever push anyone I know who wants to shop at the Weedery away until they decide to actually get management that takes care of their employees. You can find better sales and deals at other dispos who have more support to their employees and better prices on weed. Good riddance. This job actually has me completely changing my career, I refuse to be a slave in the industry of "higher ups" who think they are better than God himself.

Very nice people and good prices lots of selection also. I love this place only shop here.

there is an absolute moron who works as a budtender here who is extremely rude and incompetent . although he checks id s for a living he is unaware of the new "real id" program which goes into effect may 2025 for domestic travel withi the United states. this was a bill passed in 2010 which would require anyone to have a real id or passport to travel by air within the United States because as of now you only need a id. so this idiot thought that meant it's not a real id... hahaha I can't make this up. they have id scanners I have shopped at many different locations and this specific one multiple times however he proceeded to demand I change my id and harras me and when I messaged management they said nothing. go to the other hundreds of dispensaries these folks are very unprofessefional
