Curaleaf - State College

(1st visit about a month ago) pre-ordered 2 items. I was greeted at the front door and got setup at the front desk no issues. I am then greeted by a second person. He says he would help me on register 3, all normal compared to other dispos. but then he told me the other guy at the front desk messed up my profile info somehow and that he had to redo it all. he offered me free points for the inconvenience, okay cool. I get my stuff and leave after about 25-30 minutes. (2nd vist about a week ago.) I pre-ordered 1 item. I walk up, Im greeted like normal and then taken back, I'm at register 3 again. im standing there at the register and the girl doesn't say much. she then calls someone from the back room to check something out on the computer. they are both trying to figure out what the issue is and why it is so hard to check me out with being here previously.. they are dicussing and saying that they had my info/profile in the computer twice. one profile being the one with incorrect information from the front desk guy on my first visit. then the second profile with the right info from the second guy at the register "fixing" it. At this point, I'm there 25-30 minutes waiting on them to get my profile straightened out and then going over all my info to make sure it's "right". once fixed, she goes back and gets my pre-order, and it was 22 bucks. she then says "you have $3 in points you want to use them?" I say yeah, sure. so that brings my total to 19 dollars, sweet. I then ask, "Is it okay to use a debit card?" she says "yep but I'll have to charge you $20 and give you $1 back." okay that's normal for using a card at a dispensary. I pay, she gives me the 1$ change and I leave. later that night, i checked my bank app, and I saw something didn't add up. how did I pay $20 at the dispensary, but on my bank app, I was charged $26? That's literally $4 more than the original sale price before my $3 discount? I go to check my psychical receipt and it even said $20 charged with $1 change. At this point the whole experience has been horrible to say the least and super confusing. BUT THEN. The icing on top of the cake. I go to open my grassroots flower and notice it was super super dry. like basically turning to dust just holding it and it had almost no smell. so i check the package date on the container.. 2024-05-20! I can understand a couple months, hell even 6 months isn't anything out of the ordinary, but medical Marijuana products should not be sold literally 1 month away from the expiration date unless listed on the site as old stock. I hate to be the person to write a lengthy bad review but if you shop here check the dates of your product after and also how much you get charged using a card...

Bought a cart from them that turned out to be half empty. None of the people there know what they’re talking about, every time I’ve googled a strain they’ve suggested it’s been the opposite of what I want. The atmosphere is basically imagine a warehouse with two tables and a desk, they have almost nothing on display. They also try to upsell you even if you say multiple times that you only want one thing.

this is the worst dispensary in state college like everything is always on sale so scammy and makes it so u cant use first time discounts and those discounts dont even work on the stuff thats not on sale its in such a awkard place anyway not worth the drive at all genuinely hope this place closes and another cool dispo comes to state college
