I love this place. One of the great things are they close at 10!!!! Do you know how hard it is to find a place open after work! Not anymore. I come here often because everyone is super nice and patient. I never know what I want but they always know their products.
Thank you!!

Only dispensary in Emeryville so be sure to stop by if you live or work in the area. I like the fact that they are open until 10pm every day and also have delivery. Picked up some Lemon Fuel OG and 24k so I can't wait to smoke it!

I’ve been coming here steadily since they opened up and the experience keeps getting better. Everyone is so friendly and all the products are amazing. It’s the kind of place where everyone remembers your name and what you like to get, what could be better than that!

Came here weeks ago when this spot was tiny, now it's got some of the best selection I've seen in the East Bay. prices are pretty competitive and you will NOT get friendlier people.

I am writing this from the perspective of an interviewee and from the perspective of a guest, so here is my review of this horrible place.
Went in for an interview with three people. Two of the interviewers where cool and I have no personal vendetta against them. With that said though on of the interviewers made me extremely uncomfortable.
Having just been laid off from my previous job at another dispensary, this guy has the audacity to ask me if I am a SPY from the dispensary I was laid off at. I'm like WTF, that's a very dumb question to ask from someone who just told you that they were laid off and desperately looking for work.
I was supposed to have a three day work trial, but instead it is only a one day work trial. I was told to come in the next day but when I do, the manager was too busy to train me in the department I interviewed for and sent me home. Not only did I waste my time and gas money (gas being really expensive now) on a limited income, but I never heard back from them.
It was probably for the best though, since they kind of have unethical and immoral ways dealing with guests. The same guy that asked me if I was a spy was the same guy telling me to just push the product and not develop any type of semi personal relationship with any of the guests. He didn't like the idea of mrs Jane Doe coming in and talking about her dog or just being friendly with the staff.
As a person who has worked in the industry for five years, having a semi personal relationship has helped me retained customers and kept a steady flow of business with my old dispensary. It is also nice to know that I have made customers happy and hearing about their past life and experiences helps me build a rapport with them. It goes to show that I am not there to just "push a product" on you and shoo you away afterwards. I believe in helping someone as a human f'n being and not just an expendable number.
Then there are the codes. They make us hover around the customers like money hungry vultures and have us approach them with aggression, which made me feel REALLY UNCOMFORTABLE. That is not a way to run a business. If I was a customer I would feel uncomfortable and rushed knowing someone was hovering over me. Even a little profiled as well.
Maybe if they got rid of the manager that accused me of being a spy and kept to their commitment the place would've been decent. I'm hoping they will at least pay me for the one day I have worked there. If they do not, I will be taking legal action against the company. Will never go back to them again.
