Finally made an appointment to see the nurse, Denicka. She was absolutely amazing and super friendly. Knowledgeable on what it was that I needed to take medicinally. Explained everything clearly and made sure I understood. I have followed her recommendations/directions on my medications and it has made a huge difference in my well being. Thanks Denicka! As far as the dispensary itself, I love it. I pass up many other dispensaries to get here, it’s worth the drive. Everyone is always friendly and help me feel at ease while I’m there. Quality products. I would also like to give a shout out to the Security Guards and Andrew-my favorite budtender, you guys rock! The only slight complaint I have is the system keeps messing with my discounts, so I have to go back in, but they do correct it without any issues. Thanks for making this a place that I actually want to go to.

Honestly my favorite dispensary in town! Everything about this place keeps me coming back every time! The budtenders are very knowledgeable and way nice. I HIGHly ;) recommend using their text to order service so you can skip the lines and reduce your time in store. Also, don't forget to sign up for their loyalty program! Those extra bucks come in handy all the time. Hands down a loyal Essence customer! Although I've been to all of their valley locations, Henderson continues to be my fave <3 stay awesome guys! I'll keep sending all my buddies to this awesome establishment!

I just had to come here and post how great this place is. I came in today needing to get some weed because I was having a bad day and my anxiety was on 1000. As I was standing in line the manager was asking me how my day was. I was so upset I couldn't even really talk to him. I was able to get a few words out and told him I wasn't doing so good and just needed something to calm me down. When I got to the counter, the young lady there was so nice. I wish I can remember her name. She can clearly see I was so upset so she was helping me pick some strains that can help me relax. After I told her what I wanted she went and got my order and came back with a free preroll. She told me the manager said to give it to me. I really appreciate him for doing that for me. I will always be a customer of Essence. Everyone there at the Henderson location is so nice. I never had a bad experience with them. Thank you so much!♥️

Several issues right off the bat. If you have sensory issues at all, avoid this location. The store is always blaring loud music and the lights are extremely bright. If you're having sensory episodes of any kind do not go into this store. Secondly, if there is an issue through the online ordering Essence will simply put the blame on GreenRush and not try to help you solve your issue whatsoever. The manager will laugh at you on the phone and make fun of you if you bring any issues up to them. My experience isn't the typical experience. Most days Essence isn't that bad. But, when a medical patient has to leave bed, when they're having seizures, to go physically look at their meds to make sure everything is right. That is an issue. Whether Essence wants to recognize it or not. These people aren't disabled so they don't get it. So they'll continue mocking people like us thinking our problems are insignificant. Most people may be okay with that. But, I spend too much damn money on meds that I need to be treated like such crap. There's too many dispensaries in Las Vegas, and in a city that's known for hospitality, I don't think any business can afford to treat their clients so miserably. #VEGASSTRONG #Epilepsy

This was my first experience at this dispensary and this location. I traveled here all the way from North Las Vegas, as I was looking for a particular strain, and Leafly listed this location as the only one in Las Vegas who carried it. Ahrron (sp?) at the front door checked me in and registered me and my husband as first time visitors. He was friendly and efficient. Our Budtender Kris was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He had the strain that I was looking for, and even recommended another strain that had some of the benefits and qualities that we were interested in. We left with 2 different strains to try and because Kris was so straightforward with his information and recommendation, we walked away extremely happy customers. So glad we stopped in and we'll be back again!

Came in for the GLP special. Love that they sell GLP product. Monica was my budtender, and she is awesome. She is very knowledgeable and helpful. The only negative with this location is that they seem to only play rap music. Mix up the music a little. Wednesday at noon doesn’t have to be gangster rap. 😉

First off I'm a very frequent shopper at the other locations. I've stopped in the Henderson location a few times and never again. I'm tired of the hassle to buy here as a medical patient. I understand there was a computer update, the other locations went through it too. Funny enough they don't have all of your information and discounts at the Henderson location. Both times I've came in to get my medication I've had to wait an exceptionally long time so management could verify all of my information I gave them last time. Never did receive my correct discount. I also noticed that the prices are way higher than the Strip and Tropicana locations. Even the budtenders attitudes were cold. I'll stick to the other two locations. Better customer service and prices.

I like that they have a lot of variety, the budtenders are friendly and most of the time knowledgeable about the product. As for the employees taking the online pre orders and the ones that answer the phone arent that great. Hold times can be ridiculous. The line in the dispensary is typically long but it goes pretty fast. The weed itself is great. I go to essence when I want a variety of strains.

Totally disappointed....purchased 1g shatter, 3 eighths of different strains, and 2 disposable 500mg pens. The flower was all VERY DRY and weight did not come close to matching labeled weight. One was .48g light, another was .37 light and the third was .35 light, the third had a slight hay odor to it. The least expensive shatter weighed with in .02 of labeled weight, no complaints there. a little harsh, taste was OK, good buzz. The pens seem pretty good so far. Other than the weight of flower product, the staff was friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to have my interest in mind. The dispensary was clean. organized and inviting. Unfortunately, since the product was dry and I did not receive the weight I was sold, I will not be returning to, nor reccomending this dispensary to anyone.

This was our first time visiting a dispensary and everyone was super friendly. Malu assisted us and she was beyond AMAZING she was very patient and answered all of our questions and really took the time to explain things to us which we loved! If you’ve never been to a dispensary I would definitely come check them out they’re super friendly and very knowledgeable. Everyone just seems to have a great time with eachother. I just loved the over all feel, service and the flowers Malu suggested were as she described. THANK YOU GUYS!!! We’ll be back next trip!!!

Essence in Henderson is the best dispensary around. I came in for my birthday and Desean was super knowledgeable and friendly both times I've came in. I definitely recommend going to see him when you go there!

Lindsay from the Henderson location is amazing. I visited the location today and there was a customer yelling because he felt he was being cheated for some strange reason. The real problem is that he went in looking for a discount he’s not entitled to. Anyway not one person was rude to him and when he demanded a manager Lindsay came over and handled the guy with grace and courtesy. This isn’t the first time I’ve happened to witness her having to deal with an irate customer and she never changes her demeanor and always is able to diffuse the situation. Essence is lucky to have her as part of your management team. I also wanted to recognize Justin. He’s helped me a couple times and is always friendly and efficient. The entire staff here is wonderful and the reason I continue to come back!

This is the best dispensary in Las Vegas. They are always having big sales and offer rewards to frequent customers and locals. The variety on the menu is always impressive. The best thing about Essence is the staff. All of my questions were answered by Cheyenne who was familiar with everything on the menu. Strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality tree.
