I used to stop at Foster buds... not sure what happened, but $17 a gram!? You guys have dipped into the personal stash a little too hard before coming up with that price point. three words.. puddle.. town.. organics.. do yourself a favor and stop by there.
Love this cute little shop!! good selection of flower and chocolates. Love the fact that there are lady Budtender's here. The girl with blueish hair and the girl with pink hair are both very kind and patient. I think his name is Justin he's a swell guy and super knowledgeable

So I live downtown Pdx and there are a ton of shops by my house, but I make it a point to go across the bridge for this place. They dont have a gimmick or over the top fancy layout, it is very practical and charming space. It is obvious that the staff love each other and that neighborhood (always telling me to move to FoPo as they call it). The service is fast and attentive, surprisingly so because they are always busy. I know everyone thinks the shop they go to has the best buds, but honestly they only carry the best vendors and cuts. They even have fancy coffee in their lobby for everyone and always free merchandise. Did I mention 25 cent joints on friday and top shelf buds rotate to special prices everyday and its always different. love, love, love this place. Go check this joint out, and ask for Mark, he is my favorite and funny as hell!
I'm that person who generally posts reviews for the bad experience.. which I just did for Westside Wellness in Aloah because they are awful.. but they made me appreciate Foster Buds. Foster Buds is always great, and friendly. As you can now get this product anywhere and the complaints about most places are similar.. go to where people are chill and respectful, people who know the product and don't have a big heads because of it. Foster Buds is a great choice.
I came with my temporary medical form and Foster Buds did not honor the temporary card. I wouldn't suggest it to OMMP but it's a cute shop for a recreational customer.

confused by all the positive reviews of this place. sub-par bud. 16 bucks for a "1 gram" poorly rolled preroll. yuck. will avoid in the future. do not recommend.
Love Foster Buds! Came in today (about my fifth visit) and was surprised when I said I wanted to do a 'cumulative eighth' of three varieties and ended up paying more than any individual eighth prices for the varieties I bought. Always before, the budtenders have said if you're buying 3 grams, just get an extra half gram and pay the fee for an eighth. The budtender today said she couldn't do that if the three grams aren't the same price point. This has never been a problem in the past- I only started buying this way because it was recommended by the staff. Didn't know if you changed policies but feeling a bit unhappy about the experience. (Good thing I bought some Durban Poison!) Don't worry, I'll be back.
good bud, but it seems like this place is more for medical people than recreational people, as they charge 40% more for rec users instead of the usual 25% tax.
Showed up for the Shattered Saturday special a couple weeks ago, got home & 1 of the 3 cartridges didn't work. Brought it back & the woman working was really kind & helpful & showed me that I needed a specific battery for the Urban Farms cartridge. She was really helpful trying to get it to work & gave me a free battery for my troubles & that helped a lot. However, it's been a week & now the battery won't work. I'll go back to see if I can get another one that works. I was impressed with some of the edibles they had too.

This is my new spot. My wife and I have recently been on a tour of dispensaries throughout the city of Portland. We have checked out somewhere between 10 and 15 different clubs. Foster Buds stands head and shoulders above the rest. We had met one of the very friendly bud tenders (dreadlocks) at a neighborhood shop. We talked briefly and he handed us a business card for Foster Buds and we parted ways after letting us know that on our first visit we would receive a free edible. This is the important part. My wife and I had become a bit jaded when it comes to the edible scene. We had tried other products that advertise 200+ mg of THC only to find that we were dooped out of our money. This was the case at multiple dispensaries until we found Foster Buds. After offering us a free edible for our first visit I informed the staff that we had had less than satisfying experiences with edibles. This was quickly met with understanding and knowledge of the products not only that they carry at FB but also at the other dispensaries. This is when my friend with the dreadlocks introduced me to RSO or Rick Simpson Oil. These were the real deal. My wife and I each had one of the 214mg THC pills and finally we had what we were looking for. We took a pill each and waited... no smoking, just wanna feel the edible. Finally we had what we were looking for. A nice calm body buzz and the best part is that we didn't have to smoke. Thank you Foster Buds for being the source of knowledge that I was looking for. Great staff and great products with AMAZING prices!!!

Foster Buds was my first dispensary visit and Breanna, the budtender, was super nice and able to help me pick out my first strain, which was Me Off Kush (excellent!). I went back the next week for an indica and she helped me pick out Blue Chunk, which to date is my favorite strain. Love that they are Bernie Sanders supporters and have donated some of their profits to his campaign! You guys ROCK!
Local spot, hard to pass up, especially when the quality is this good. The flower comes straight out of the jars and well chosen cuts. Preroll selection is some of the best I have found.
I have come in a few times. Clean place with friendly service. Always great selection and when there's a new bud I haven't heard of, the staff gives the skinny without making you feel dumb. They have great prices on bud and pre rolls. Good people and great bud. Oh...there are three or four shops closer to me, but this is my go to and favorite spot.
I love the art in the lobby! And the front desk is very friendly. The staff inside, the bud tenders are very knowledgeable and were able to help me find something I really liked and worked for my pain, thank you Foster Buds!
