Atmosphere is very nice, I like that you can walk around and check out stuff without staff pushing stuff or making unsolicited recommendations. I like to browse -- and this place serves. Products are excellent, lots of cool edibles and tablets and fun stuff.
On the other hand -- the register staff have been notably unfriendly to me on a number of occasions. Maybe it's because i'm a white guy with a mustache who works construction, but i feel like an attitude was given to me that i didn't see other customers getting.
I'll admit, one time i accidentally walked past the small sign that said "wait here to be called to a register" and i was corrected -- albeit, in a very unfriendly un-customerservicelike manner.
I'll come here again, but I'm really disappointed in the staff. I get that it's retail, and it's not a fun job. Maybe harborside doesn't take care of them well, and that's another issue altogther. Anyways... i said my piece.

Harborside always carries a huge selection of classic and new strains, all high quality, at price points to fit everybody's budget. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the vibe is the exact opposite of a skeevy "head shop" - it's more like a cross between the produce aisle at Whole Foods and the gift shop at a planetarium. And there's PARKING! No matter what your cannabis needs are, you'll leave satisfied!

I couldn't leave the Bay with out checking out harborside stores dispensary while my visit in Oakland. 40min drive from where I was staying and I have to say I was very impressed. Wonderful atmosphere: bright, open and spacious. Friendly staff, who are knowledgeable professional and enthusiastic. Congratulations Berner #berner415 on dropping that #gelato42! ✌🏾🍪
