So I’m a little late on writing this review, but they really do deserve the ratings that I gave on this review so here it goes! I do have another shop that I usually go to but it’s a little further out from where I live. Out of all the shops in town though, High Mountain Rec is by far the best choice to find great quality products. Every time I have gone in, I’ve gotten nothing but awesome customer service. I hate to say that I’m a very picky smoker, but I am and when I go in anywhere I usually ask to look at as many oils as possible so I can actually look at the product and get a good comparison at terp percentage! Online menus with info can only go so far, having everything right in front of you just helps I think! Everything I asked to look at though, they brought it out without any sighs or nasty looks. They also had something to say about every single product I asked to see, it being what they thought of flavor, high, or even just had information on the strain. We had a good conversation about the market and where it’s going and it’s just nice to see the customer service that was delivered that day I went in!

From the first day I stepped into high mountain to now I've been very pleased with everything. They product is great, their ability to adapt and still provide top notch service during the pandemic has also been steller. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about what they are handling. I have learned so much over the year I've been coming. Beyond a 5 star rating!

Absolutely my fave shop in The Dalles! The shop vibe when you first hit the doors is classic but welcoming. Once inside they have all their product on display, labeled and ready for customers. Did I mention the employees! They are fantastic! I love going in when Emily is working. She is hands down the best. So informative and easy to talk to. Always has great recommendations and alternatives. I love that the employees know what they’re selling.

I have been spending a few months figuring out which shop is top notch here in the dalles. In my opinion High Mountain is that shop. Staff is always eager to please, they know there industry and the products they carry, pricing is perfect and friendly discounts always happen. I always seem to pay less then I expect. They always openly welcome feed back on the products, and always have feedback or advice when needed. This back street stop, huddled in between the mom and pop auto shops is a must stop and shop ;)

Visited on a trip to Mount Hood and found it to be such a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and extremely knowledgable -- they were ready to chat farms, growing methods, and make great recommendations. Found the perfect strain for a day of hiking -- so perfect, we came back the next day for concentrates. Loved the national parks theme as well. Would go out of my way to visit again.

This is the only pot shop I will go to after seeing everyone else’s quality and service. High mountain recreation has the best service, best employees and the most knowledgeable employees. I can go in any day and say I want a strain that dose something specific and who ever is working can guide me to the best strain they have for the desired result or tell me of a strain that someone else has that might be better. They know the way everything effects you. I absolutely love this place

so medical are dealers when people can go an get there own ounce of pot every day but medical patient can only get 2 ounces a month so when did i become a black market dealer i would like to know an please dont tell me im a black market dealer thats comes from manager or god in back

The ladies that I have had the pleasure of waited on me and my husband everytime we have come into the shop they are so personal and kind! Not only do you ask them or tell them how your feelings and they say is will help and yes I get home and they were right it's just what we needed! So thanks for all your kindness!

Love this place, easily my favorite shop in the gorge. Definitely my favorite in The Dalles, no contest!! Amazing product, I am CONSISTENTLY satisfied with the strains I have brought here. This is the best dispensary in The Dalles. You couldn't ask for better. On most occasions my budtender has been Emily. She is everything I look for in customer service. Friendly, knowledgeable, engaging. Top tier!! On the occasions where the owners are present, they are just as genuine as their staff. Not just good business people, but good people all around. The rest of the staff is always eager to help, and engage in conversations even if they aren't directly involved in the transaction. They are all smart, funny, and outgoing. Prices are amazing. 40 dollar halves are incredible. Plenty of other deal as well. This is the new benchmark for me as far as dispensaries go. Thank you for all that you do!!!

This is the only dispensary in The Dalles that I will give my business to. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, their cannabis is higher quality than other dispensaries in the area. To put he cherry on top they carry glass made by local artists and businesses.
