small space that can get fairly crowded, parking can be weird. but excellent variety, products, prices, and service.
I've been here twice now and walked away extremely impressed with the service on both occasions. I would feel comfortable bringing my mom here. Super clean shop, staff is exceptionally courteous and easy to talk to. Tyler is top notch at what he does and it's obvious that he has a genuine passion for his work. I never felt like I was being talked into a strain I wasn't interested in, and both the suggestions were better than what I went in for. I never caught the name of the person that helped me the second time I visited, but he was equally helpful despite the insane rush they were going through. On top of the awesome service, I ended up with some of the tastiest grass I've encountered in awhile. Many thanks to the folks that run this place!
I am a caregiver for my medical partner, who has very bad anxiety among other health problems, and a very complicated medical regimine. After a very unsavory discovery that I did not get what I asked my budtender for, I came back in and spoke with assistant manager Geoff. He was extremely sympathetic and apologetic, he spent a great deal of time discussing my partners medical needs, and he more than generously made up for the incident. Thank you Geoff, we will be coming back soon.
I've been coming to kaleafa since they opened for rec at midnight, and I've had mixed experiences. I hate to leave a negative review as the first, but I went in today and picked up some Girl Scout Cookies shatter. It's not the highest quality stuff which I knew, but I figured it was just trim run. Got it back home to find it almost at a liquid state. I popped it in the fridge and waited a while. It gets me high, but the closer to unstable wax consistency makes it almost impossible to deal with. Don't sell maple syrup and call it shatter.
Good deals on herb. Quality about middle-shelf for most varieties. Vapor cartridges are upcharged for recreational customers in addition to the state tax.
Kaleafa is an amazing experience. First they have many selections And the bud tenders are super knowledgeable. they carry RSO by Genesis Pharms which has been very beneficial for my medical needs. Also they have many other RSO products. I highly recommend this dispensary above most because of the hospitality,knowledge and product. Peace love 💜
Kaleafa has the best selection of recreational bud of anywhere I've been. Prices are $2 a gram extra for recreational though, on top of their usual $10 a gram, plus a $2 fee for running a debit card, so it adds up. Not like some places charging 14-15 a gram though. The dude behind the counter was friendly and mad chill even though I was the last customer of the night and they were closing up. I like the way they weigh it out for you in front of you and will snap off stems and replace them with bud. I could see the small location getting pretty crowded if there were lots of customers, which could be a potential downside. They have lots of amenities while waiting though, like k-cup coffee and some red vines and weed magazines.

Here are my thoughts & observations... ~ No freebies/specials for 1st time recreational visitors ~ Quality --> special/sale items tasted old, stale | only being promoted for quick sale, not for quality ~ Recreational Strains --> seemed to be about 20 | showcased in big glass containers | very similar to other Oregon dispensaries I have visited | difficult to see strain options | majority hybrid varieties | very few sativa options (my preference) ~ Recreational Prices --> very similar to other Oregon dispensaries I have visited | prices were not listed or easily visible for strains :( | $10-$18/gram | $35-$50 1/8ths | tax price not included for the few prices displayed Purchased Strains ~ Feel Right --> $6/gram | sativa | special sale | 2015 date | high was flat & quick ~ XJ-13 --> $8/gram | sativa dominant hybrid | special sale | not very fragrant | several months old | high was flat | my favorite strain, but would not buy it from here again Far away from my house so probably will not return anytime soon.
decent concentrate prices
This is my go to place for concentrates when I want a variety. They always seem to have some of the lowest donations I've seen around this area. They also have some really good top shelf flower for very low donations as well. I for sure recommend checking this place out. Sometimes you have to wait a while cuz its busy, but its worth it. Staff is for the most part very friendly and know whats up.
STOP PUTTING 25% ON YOUR JAR LABEL WHEN YOURE SENDING PEOPLE HOME WITH SHIT THAT IS ONLY 18%. Has happened multiple times to myself and people I know. I don't appreciate being lied too and can see that it's not just me you're doing it too (see reviews below) Quick way too lose customers. Oh and the chick that likes to send you home with empty containers needs to go. Really liked you guys when I first started coming in back in November, but with my last few visits I can say I won't be back. Hire some people with a brain and stop labeling your shit wrong. ✌🏼️
Bought items at least four times. Probably not headed bank. Selection and price for recreation customers is average. Also, last two visits bud jars were all over the counter. Kind of a disorganized mess.
This store is awesome. I'm one of the gray-haired set, and Kaleafa employees are so welcoming and informative to me and my friends. I haven't experienced that at any other dispensary. I drive 18 miles and pass many green stores to get to Kaleafa.

what an amazing experience. I brought my mother in for her first time at a weed club. She was very nervous and scared to ask any questions. we were immediately greeted with fantastic music and more jars of weed than I have ever seen at any shop. then they gave us both a free ten sack for a dollar? fantastic, boys! thank you so much and we will definitely be in at least once a week. worth the wait in line and...cough...hot tattooed guys that work there are a bonus ;) special thanks to (I hope I get the names right) Josh, Tyler, Mitch and Kayla. keep up the good work!

To be fair I probably visited this shop on one of its busier days. I walked into the front door into a crowded room where 6 people were standing and more were coming in. They were entering id as people came in. Completely skipped my id and sent 3 people in before me that had just walked in. Ok no biggie. Finally after about a 30 minute wait in the waiting room it was my turn. I walk in and was impressed with the selection. It was my first time so I asked the kid behind the counter what he recommended. He says "it's whateva you like just pick one". I was kind of taken back but like I said it was a special night and I wanted some pot so I picked a strain that I recognized the whole time while checking me out he was talking to other people. The whole event took over an hour. I will go back in the future and re review if my experience is different. But for now this was my experience
I absolutely love this place, all the bud tenders are awesome, and the products are always top notch no matter what price. I will always love to go here because of the excellent service I continue to get every day I am there plus most of the bud tenders know me by name and know what I like, thanks to all the kaleafa staff I appreciate you all. I love Kaleafa. This place is right near my house and always has the best bud tenders. I think I might like this location just for that eye candy. But I digress, the selection at Kaleafa is pretty good and I can always seem to find something I haven't tried before because they always seem to be up on newer strains. Not the cheapest but along the lines of other dispensaries.
First place I ever purchased legal cannabis (on opening day). What a cool day that was. Came back tonight, got a great deal and had another good experience at Kaleafa. Thanks Kaleafa-ites.
Had an interesting interaction my first time. Not sure I will be back. Didn't get help for about 15 minutes. The place wasn't very busy until a few minutes after I came in. Others were helped before me. I had questions and wanted to spend more money. Oh well! Plenty of dispensaries around.
Staff didn't wear gloves and broke off chunks of beautiful bud with his bare hands. 😞 He also didn't offer the traditional Dollar gram that everyone else got offered. I'll come back when convenient. Not going out of my way to come here. Great sale, poor experience, decent bud.
i was on my way home from work and found this gem of a place. the receptionist was funny and gets you signed into their system BEFORE you even buy it so you can save a little time. really great service from Dre as well. he gave me the rundown on pricing and deals as soon as i walked up to browse the various strains. i will definitely be coming here more often.
