La Mota Medford

I shop here because it's the closest. Most of the time I enjoy the customer service over the quality of the product. Today I went through my entire order of carts to find one out of almost 10 carts that work(one cart that I had to leave loose to work). Buggies, Caked and La Mota brands are one in the same and if you buy them you're surely to encounter an issue. They suck and should quit all together. You say something to the staff and nothing gets passed on, instead two more "brands" start having the same issue and they shortened the days you have to report because they think everyone is lying and so they don't have to fix the problem. I just bought several carts and just one work only if I kept it loose on my battery. They don't take accountability and will try to bash anyone who says anything even it's not with ill intentions because they are fragile and don't have any sense in construction criticism and are willing to hurt others to feel "better" about themselves. The owners know what's going on and they refuse to care to fix.

A curious dispensary, to say the least. I go here probably about once a week, usually on the weekend because that's when all of their various deals are active together; you can get 5 50mg THC gummies (La Mota brand) for $20 on Mondays or the weekend, and you can also get any top shelf eighth ($16/g or lower) for $25 or the same flower half off by the gram on weekends (these deals are also on one day of the week each, but I forget which ones). This is by far the best sale I've seen at any dispensary, you get a savings of around 50% if you get an eighth of a $16/g on a deal day, but this also ends up being a double-edged sword because you end up with in my opinion a lot of $10-$16 grams (what La Mota considers to be top shelf) that just aren't worth the normal price, and are pretty average or just above average at the best deal prices. Occasionally you will get really lucky, like the time they had Platinum Reserve #6 by Oregonic Farms on their top shelf and I was able to get an eighth of that for $25, but most of the the top shelf does seem to be overpriced based on the expectation that people will buy more on deal days, it reminds me of stores that say things like "70% off everything!" but then you find out the original prices are their absurdly high MSRP and you aren't really getting that much of a deal at all. Overall, I'd say La Mota Riverside is an average dispensary that you can get very lucky at, just make sure you never pay full price for their top shelf flower because just about everywhere else has more consistently good top shelf things in my experiences.

Entered store. Asked for "micro USB battery" for vape cart. Girl says, "We only have batteries without the charger." I was like, "Its a micro USB?" "Yeah." Battery has NO BOX. $15. Purchase battery, 2 carts, tip $5. Get home. BATTERY IS NOT MICRO USB. Return to store 30 minutes later. Refused refund: "we don't know where its been." Oh, the battery you sold me with NO BOX OR CHARGER? Yeah I don't know where its been either. Left battery on counter, flipped of camera, left store robbed $15. Dear LA Mota: I have 23 years growing, brokering, consulting, dispensing- y'all ain't it. Go back to L.A. Srsly. I bet you resold the battery you refused refund on too lmao its a small industry my dudes. Last time I give this trap house of a dispo my time or money. Despicable.

Went to La Mota in Central Point because I heard they had good prices and products, got a few different 1g pre rolls and 1/2g preroll packs they were terrible tasting and I felt nothing. I opened one preroll thinking maybe I’d just load a bowl and it’d be better and it was all shake and stems plus there was hair in it🤢 I’ve worked in the cannabis industry and this wasn’t a hair or fiber from the plant it was a thick dark hair.. very disappointed and kinda grossed out.
