This dispensary is clean, organized and safe. La Mota has a broad selection of indicas, sativas and hybrids, with high-quality varieties at a range of prices. I will definitely shop here again!

La Mota is a sham of a dispensary in SE Portland. DON'T EVER GO THERE! They cheat you out of whole grams, advertise strains not available, and price gouge/raise prices within 24 hours. Lines take forever because staff is untrained. I was given 1 gram less product at poorer rate than advertised in-house and owner or manager would not make good on admittedly bad deal. Waited for over half an hour to complain with no result and staff were unprofessional, unknowledgeable, and careless. This place also advertises strains that they don't have. They claim they are all out of product more often than not. Asked about at least 5 products that were listed but supposedly sold out or not available. Went back the next day and rates were higher on multiple strains! Am mostly unhappy that this place sells 6 grams for quarter prices and refused to correct the issue.

Love this place. Staff is always very helpful and the flower is amazing!

very clean, welcoming staff, knew what I was looking for so didn't have questions for the budtender but was shown a few other options for future visits. When tipping and leaving remembered my name which was a nice touch.

have you ever walked up to a place and thought this is a bad idea?? well I had that feeling and I should of walked away. the quality of weed I got was pure shit. the bud still had leaves on it, it was moist, and burnt to fast. the staff was snotty, not helpful, and it felt like a unwelcome environment. next time I read a review and it's bad I'm gonna listen.

this place is my favorite, the budtenders are great and there's always something on the menu that's perfect for my needs.

La Mota has an absolutely mind blowing selection pretty much always! The quality varies, but the product is priced according to quality not thc as should be. The atmosphere here is not terribly inviting, it is a stark and sterile environment. The staff is pretty good overall. I've shopped here several times, and will come back as they are close to home.

The staff is really friendly and prompt! They welcome you as soon as you walk in the door!

This is an amendment to my earlier review. Sadly, after trying the different $19 strains, they are at best second tier concentrates. Two grams of shatter turned out to be a gummy wax. The La Mota crumble was horrible. When I opened it I noticed that it was just a hard mass, that broke into fine shards. Trying to work with that with a hot nail was challenging. But for $19 a gram, you get what you pay for. Good Luck!!

My first recreational experience. the guy's were cool, professional, and knowledgeable. the prices were reasonable and the quality of the bud seems pretty decent. i don't have anything to compare my vist at la mota with. But i can say i left happy and intend in going back.

People are nice and friendly, but the best part is the selection. If you're the type who likes to sample different strains because either you like variety or only certain types of strains do the best job, you'll find yourself coming back to this spot. An amazing selection that is quality and fair priced with a good staff.
