MedMen - Fifth Avenue

I have managed to avoid this dispensary because of what I’ve heard from the industry practices it just didn’t feel aligned with me. I was desperate for a bathroom so figured I’m here, I’ll stop in and buy something. The behind the counter was super rude, in a way that it was clear that he had no idea he was being rude, but definitely need some hospitality training. The experience was, not an experience at all really. The most disappointing aspect was that they didn’t even have a bathroom. This is quite literally the only medical dispensary I’ve been to in the entire country that did not consider their patients when designing their space. The fact that they didn’t have a bathroom really confirmed everything I thought about this company. I know they’re not doing well, and I hope that their bankruptcy is a smooth one.

Always a pleasure to shop here. I like the Luxlyte line very much. The staff is cheerful, helpful, and quick.

I can't seem to update my previous review... a manager from MedMen contacted me shortly after I submitted it and was much more generous. (However, the response was quick, so I doubt they read the negative review before addressing my complaint.) This is the review I am referring to: I have been shopping at MedMen for nearly a year–their selection is decent by New York standards, as are the costs. The service has always been friendly. However, I recently had my first incident that required customer service, which prompted this review. I purchased 7g of Vireo Remo Chemo (RMC) Black 1:50. Only after getting home and trying it did I notice it was Remo Chemo (RMC) RED 1:19. MedMen offered to exchange it for another product plus 10% off. Had I wanted another product, I would have purchased it, but their selection was particularly poor. 10% would barely cover the cost of transportation, and I can't afford 2+ hours out of my day. Medical marijuana is already too expensive and strains are too difficult to find. I'm a known, regular customer at MedMen. Their response was very disappointing. Always check your bag before you leave.
