Mission - Calumet City

Highly disappointed and unsatisfied. I’ve visited this location recently over last 4-5 months when my normal dispensary is already closed. I have been unhappy with the product I was given on several occasions. Poorly packed products, over shelf life for true potency of the flower, and INCORRECTLY LABELED PRODUCTS!!!!! As an enthusiast of cannabis respectfully and responsibly, this is UNACCEPTABLE. I explained to the manager that a product I purchased from their location was extremely poor, and The only resolve I was offered was to not buy it again. I should have followed my first mind and not returned to this location, but they’re one of the only ones who stay open until 9pm. But for what it’s worth I’d rather go the night without than to WASTE my money in there facilities again. On 3-16-24, I purchased a pre-rolled product that was labeled one thing and clearly something different. I checked the product before I left the site after being burned from this location before, and just as I suspected, the product was WRONG. I immediately went back in to explain my frustration and I was told it’s a “ cultivation's problem that they don’t deal with” , but you sell the product? I don’t get it. Also to be told they don’t refund or exchange product ( which I understand ) The manager this time attempted to make things slightly right and I appreciate his effort, but my overall distaste for the experiences I’ve had personally at this location is extremely disappointing. If you can’t ensure your customers that the product your delivering to them is the the best quality of product, you should really rethink your suppliers as they are tainting the brand of the Buisness and giving their establishment a bad name. I won’t be returning to this locating or company for that matter. STAY AWAY. Windy City cannabis in Posen is my home dispensary and I will just continue to do my business their.

I would never put somebody I like through sending them here to get weed or whatever they wanted it's like pulling teeth coming here but I can always go to Windy City cannabis which is like 10 more minutes away and always a much better experience is the worst dispensary in the country.

These security think they’re tough and the budtenders are pieces of shit.

Prices high and budtenders need training and education.

Very fast and helpful service staff. Someone always makes me laugh. Fun times to go are happy hour.

First time to any dispensary and will definitely return here. JJ (budtender) was so patient and knowledgeable! Great atmosphere. Only down side is the taxes 😞

I usually go to Michigan dispensaries, but my visit to Mission was by far one of the best in Illinois. Great customer service, wide selection of products, and a great VIBE!!

I have been going here for about a year and a half love the place good people good product good deals… what’s not to like?? Keep up the good work😎Especially the budtenders( need a better name for that…) ✌️

Today I will leave this review but as an employee of Mission: A review as a company: Since our first day only 2 months ago, I have been enamored with our company's attention to detail, activism and advocacy. They truly care for the health and happiness of us ,as employees, as well as those of guests and people in general, really. Education at the forefront and with support throughout is what I expect from them moving forward and I A SUPER EXCITED!! A review as a store: As an associate at Mission, we work each position at random and what I can say is that I truly love to do each of them. I dig being at the desk and greeting at reception even when its cold outside. I love to chat assist and recommend to our guests while hanging around the kiosks for those same reasons. I adore making each transaction at the counter an awesome experience with lots of smiling (yes… I am smiling under that d$%# mask!!). I also really love to get into the back of the house so I can get a work out in while aiming to move with super speed and stellar accuracy while preparing orders. I stand next to my team each day that feel the same I do, which means that this store has good bones for a happy, informative and productive store now and moving forward. I have seen some real rockstars in this team at Cal City with brains and heart ,which means that my two favorite things can flow freely from this hub and out to heal the world…..CANNABIS and HUMANITY!! (just think!! what a world!) oops **squirrel crossing** I am way off topic now sooooo anywhooo oh yes review... Clean store Friendly and knowledgeable staff New products added daily Price: Each time I look at the “others” menus, I feel bad for their customers and want to hug ‘em *Free COVID Air Hug to all custies!! 😊.*** A review of our customers: ELEVENTEENNNN STARS!!!!! OUR CUSTOMERS ARE AWESOME!!! I tell ya what ,kids, I have met some of the most awesome people from the ages 21 through the 90s over the last 2 months and everyone has made this ole purple haired lady feel so warm and welcomed, intrigued and giggly. I truly am thankful that I took up Cannabis not all that long ago and became “Potheads” with all of you’s as I am now healthier, happier and hotter than I was in my younger years 😊 I seriously can not wait to see what our team can do for the community moving forward, the sky is the limit!!!

I used to drive to the Mission in South Chicago but Calumet City is much closer to me. The service is just as AWESOME, and so is their product selection! PEACE Y’al! 🤙🏼

The visit was very cool very impressed with the secirity and staff i had preordered and after a quick, friendly security guard checked i was 21. ( I,m over 60) inside also very very nice woman helped me and got my order checked me out , gave me discounts. She was just great. It just don't get better for pain meds. Ty

I started as a patient and fell in love with Mission. So much that i am part of the Team! <3. They make you feel so welcomed you forget you are purchasing cannabis! Mission is not just making sales, they are changing lives One Nug at a time. I highly recommend stopping by and checking out their wide range of products!
