Missouri Health & Wellness - Sedalia

I loved everything about this place except for the entire reason I was there. I was even more excited that I could pre-order and not have to worry about waiting in a long line, outside, only for the strain I came for to have sold out. (My first experience at another Missouri dispensary.) The strains I got were different from the ones I was previously not thrilled about-however they were cultivated at the same place. They were then and are now the only ones available here. I’d purchase anything grown by solhaus with extreme cation. It’s very dry, It burns immediately when put in my Volcano to vape so that is not an option. It crumbles into dust when I grind it. I keep my meds in air tight uv protected jars, just to reiterate-I purchased it this way. Needless to say it is no where near worth $60 for 3.5G. There have been 2 other places to have an indoor cultivation that I’m seeing products being sold across the state just not here. Some for even less than the jaw dropping $60 for 3.5G, might be worth it to drive a bit for fresher, cheaper product. On the plus side I was the only one in there so my wait time was zero. I really liked this place to be honest I just wish they’d get fresher, better quality flower. I’m hoping they’ll read this and update their supply, maybe run a couple of deals via the Leafly link. 🙏 I’m not giving up hope yet!

I’ve only been in one other dispensary in Missouri besides Missouri Health & Wellness in Sedalia, and they were both pretty similar. Waiting room. Buzz you in. Bud room. Neither were palatial, but both were clean, neat, and were staffed with very nice people. And let’s be honest, do you really need all that money you’re paying going into superficial trappings? Given some of the places I’ve gone to buy cannabis in my day, MH&W is the fornicating Taj Mahal, comparatively… and at least they have a handy ATM. Maybe I should have suggested that to some of my weed dealers over the years. I go to MH&W because it’s closer to me, but that won’t be true before long. I tend to be a loyal patron, and I’ve been very happy with my service there, so I don’t anticipate changing stores. The staff at MH&W are very friendly, from the cute receptionist in the front, to the “weedaristas” in the business end of the store. (I’m not sure how to refer to the folks who actually sells one their marijuana. Pot dealers seems to have a judgmental quality to it. Budtender? Herbalist? Green pharmacist?) I was specific about the location of the dispensary because I went to Amsterdam almost ten years ago this March, so if that’s what you’re expecting, think again. The Missouri dispensaries just haven’t gotten up to speed in comparison to their Netherlander brethren. There’s not a huge variety (but that’s not their fault, and it’s pretty much the same everywhere in Missouri), and if you’re looking for wax or other concentrates, think again. I’m not sure anyone has those options available yet. So, you aren’t going to find a huge variety, but they have a good selection of what’s available, and at least it’s legal. Well, legal in the state on Missouri. The federal statutes are still a bit behind the times. If I had any issue at all, it would be that they don’t have the best parking, but I’ve never had any trouble finding a spot. The other Missouri dispensary I used had a half an hour wait time just to get into the place. That’s never been a problem at MH&W. I would very definitely recommend Missouri Health and wellness to anyone. Later taters. xxxooo dc

Came in and got my pre order plus a few other items and Heather was amazing and so helpful! Friendly staff for sure!
