Oregon Weedery

I've been meaning to drop in for months as this local is very close to where I live in SW PDX. It is a shared building; the dispernsary was upstairs. Was greeted warmly upon walkin in & was immediately helped which was very nice. Jim was my tender & he was very knowledgable bout the meds & personable which I enjoyed as well. He suggested some gluten free cookies as I had a killer migraine when I went in. Ate a whole one on the drive home & was amazed how well it worked! My pain scale was 8-9 & this cookie saved my @$$ from an ER trip! :-) Flowers were top notch as well. I will definitely be back! Fyi, being that this gem is in NW PDX parking will be an issue. But a small price pay for killer service & meds! You guys got me hooked for sure! :-)

I think I've left a review of the Weedery previously, but my most recent experience was so nice, I felt compelled to leave another. I'd like to give a special shout-out to Kenny, who gave me a recommendation for a product to replace one I've been using for some years, but which is not going away. I have been using Doctor Terpene Relief (formerly Pain) medication and have enjoyed it immensely. It is a 1:1 product and great for arthritic pain. But I heard recently that it is being retired, perhaps because they already have another 1:1 product. In any event, I was in a quandary over finding a replacement, when Kenny, a Weeder budtender, suggested a tincture product from Luminous Botanicals. It is called Meadow and is a 1:1 tincture. Better yet, it is a "full-spectrum" product, which should be far superior for pain than any isolate product. Sure enough, I tried it and it works great! And when you consider the price, given my medical card and veteran status, I'll get more bang for my buck with the tincture than with the Relief product, which is very nice. So, thank you, Kenny! The Oregon weedery is the first place in Oregon I bought cannabis, on the day recreational sale became legal. The budtenders were very helpful, especially since I was new to the concept of buying a named strain with identifying characteristics, instead of "50 bucks worth of non-stoney weed". The atmosphere is friendly, Bohemian and cozy. The only criticism I have of the Oregon Weedery is on rare occasions when I've gone in looking for a particular strain some of the bud tenders seem to not be as knowledgeable as I would have liked: however they tried hard to help me and consulted other employees to do the best they could for me I have also seen complaints that they have high prices for flower. However their quality is the best I've found so far in the city and where, for example you might find Durban Poison at another dispensary for a cheaper price, the THC percentage will be significantly lower than what you find at the Weedery and the quality will not be as good. You get what you pay for. Finally, the weedery is dog friendly. I live in the neighborhood and occasionally I stop by while walking my puppy and she always seems to enjoy the visits.
