I will preface this by saying that I am neurodivergent. I am sensitive, perhaps overly so, to vocal inflection and body language. I'm also a big, bearded bastard that is often immediately mistaken for a Viking.
With that in mind, this is about the experience as a whole, rather than solely on anyone who I directly interacted with.
The first thing I noticed was how different and clinical NH setups are over Maine.
The woman behind the counter seemed quite acerbic. Perhaps upset when I unknowingly broke HIPAA by reaching for a menu.
When I finally got to the counter, the attitude against me seemed to fit the "Git this dude out of here" vibe that I've experienced many times over the 20+ years of customer service. After that, her tone felt very condescending during the unprompted guidelines, asking for ID the third time, and spoken at a cadence that reminds me of an audiobook on 2x speed. The attitude felt very much like I wasn't welcome.
The only time I got words in were to ask specifics. I felt pressured to be rushed to a decision. At this point I was already a bit off from the whole experience, with anxiety already triggered.
I quickly chose a I got a 10 pack of pre-rolls, capitalizing on their first-timer discount. How they package and roll their pre-rolls can tell a lot about the place.
Unfortunately, the negative experience continued when I finally got to consume one.
Packaging was a plain tube, so nothing wrong there. The rolls were long and thin, packed loosely with herb that had been overly dried, but that's not uncommon.
A third of the way through the first and I couldn't keep it lit. After the fifth relight, I finally caved and dumped out the contents for my bowl.
Breaking up the roll found that it was chock full of unground stems. In the case of this one, the stem had poked out the side just enough to prevent a proper seal to smoke.
Based on this experience, I definitely will not be back.

They never have a good flower selection and the strains they have are very weak. I am very disappointed in Temescal Wellness.

Temescal Dover is awesome. Great quality, knowledgeable staff. I miss Tom, he understood my illness and what types of Marijuana would help the best. Tom, if you should ever read this, thank you for all of your help & kindness.

Same products for too long of time. Need to have RSO so patients can micro dose to treat pain. Durban poisen flower isn't ever available, very popular strain. Not terribly excited to buy more here on a regular basis
I could not be more satisfied with Temescal Wellness, especially Tom & Missy.

I have going to the Dover dispensery for about 3 years now and I enjoy everything and everyone there. The people are super friendly and very knowledgeable about their business. They have what I want almost always and they are right on the ball at doing my orders. They are the BEST! Thank you Temescal Wellness.

I was very nervous about going to a dispensary, I didn't know what to expect. From my first phone call to
Temescal I felt more at ease. Darleen was very friendly and helped me find find the cannabis strain that relaxed me, I have anxiety, and took away my pain! I love their chocolate bar. The first time I took 1/2 square I felt a peacefulness and relaxation like I never had felt before and my pain was gone. I have severe chronic pain and temescal and their wonderful staff have helped me feel good for the first time in years!

It's an ok dispensary, I've been to betters ones who have a really nice selection. Also, charging by the gram is not cool in my book.

Very knowledgeable, professional and friendly, caring staff. They give you as much time as you need and will take the time to make sure you are happy with your purchases. The staff, and convenient location earns a 5 🌟. review. They have also done a great job in learning how to pivot and take orders online, doing curbside pickup with timed appointments. Very efficient.
These people make you feel like family. Knowledgeable,Friendly,Kind and a clean atmosphere. Staff is absolutely awesome. From day one this place has helped me in my medical condition. I reallY can’t say enough About the people. Why bother going anyplace else. They genuinely care about their job and it shows. Thank You for your help.
