Terrapin Care Station - Aurora

F#$& these guys! Terrapin Care moved to Pennsylvania and sold these stores to some clowns. I had been using TC for some 5 years now, for both quality and price. After the sale, they closed my branch on 33rd, I went to the Aurora outlet and talked with a manager about what to expect with the change. I was told the new owners would maintain grower relationships and continue to distribute the same product as the previous company. Pricing would be the same. NOPE! Went to order online from Terrapin Aurora (6th ave) today. Very, very few strains from the Original Terrapin Care, if any, are stocked. TC replaced the inventory with strains not previously experienced at OTC (unrecognized) and jacked the price! I will only assume any accumulated points from OTC will not transfer to TC as promised either. The fact that a 30 minute conversation resuted in only lies from management has left a foul taste in my mouth. I am in no mood to sample their existing menu in order to find replacements for strains I have relied on and enjoyed the last 5 years. This is the end of my relationship with Terrapin. I completely understand the issues involved with buying/maintaining/taking over a dispensary and retailers come and go in the Denver market. However, I am left deeply disappointed in this transition. Last thing I wanted to do was start over with a new dispensary and this is a waste of my time. Trying House Of Dankness today: Prices are superior to TC and they carry my go-to strain.

I have been a loyal customer of this dispensary for over two years now, and I am delighted with their products and exceptional service. I would not consider going to any other dispensary in Denver. Nick, Simone, Justin, and Maddy are some of the most delightful individuals I have interacted with, not just in a business setting but also personally. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is unparalleled, even among their sister sites. Moreover, I appreciate the loyalty points and rewards, which make this some of the most affordable high-quality weed in the city for their dedicated customers.

I went in here for years buying concentrates. An 8 pack every week. This day I went in here to grab my usual 8 pack and one of packages was empty after I got home. So, I called them and emailed them right away. The person on the phone told me “since I left the store, there was nothing they could do”.. after years of purchasing here apparently today was the day I decided 8 grams wasn’t enough but 9 was. So on good principle I obviously can’t shop here anymore, I am not a thief. When I left a review on Facebook they blocked me, pretty much this same review.. it’s just terrible customer service provided by Kenneth.

I wanted to make a review for their Sabotage OG and for their Heaven's Devil but neither strain can be found on sites to leave strain reviews. I LOVE their Sabotage OG. GG mixed with White Slipper can't be beat; it tastes like GG but over has more of a White Slipper high to it. As for the Heaven's Devil I personally found it wanting. It felt like the the Cherry Diesel was dominant in the batch I got, providing a very "light" high (as in almost forgettable/unnoticeable) that was slightly more psychedelic then usual but not by much. After 2 bowls of the Heaven's I actually felt more lethargic and worn out then anything. The Sabotage OG I'd give 5 stars for taste, appearance, smell, and high. The Heaven's Devil would get a 3 star from me for taste, appearance, and smell; where as the high was actually too "light" for me
