Uncle Ike's - Central District

It's a nice spot but feels like a sports store inside. The staff was super friendly and there was a lot of people so I was glad they didn't have a wait.

I must say, I'm smitten with the White Center store! I've visited three times now and I'm really pleased. So long as they can keep a solid variety and stock of "inexpensive" (there's always going to be a difference in quality in a $15 1/8th vs a $50 1/8th - always keep in mind, you get what you pay for!) strains - I'll be around a lot! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I like to check the menu before I get there and have a few options prepared in case my first choice is sold out. But even if that back fires, they've always made sure to help me find something similar in my price range. Down to earth folks - easy to chat with. Ample parking! And a liquor store next door! I usually show up around 7-9pm and there's never been a line. I'm always in and out in like 5 minutes. Highly recommended!

Uncle Ike's are my FAVORITE shops so far in WA, the 15thst shop and the union st shop are amazing, its often busy, but I've never felt rushed by the staff, large selection at both stores :) HIGHly recommend

First time in. Needed edibles, bud tender told me I needed to try SWIFTS. So I picked up honey, sour drops (key lime) and a box of mixed truffles. They were amazing the quality and craftsmanship that went into these products is out of this world. The sour-drops or defiantly what I was missing at work. Micro doses and very discreet container. The taste was perfect. I GOT SWIFTS!!!!!

First experience in a dispensary... Terrance, who works the door, was very knowledgeable and kindly went through the extensive menu with me before I got in line. I am completely impressed with the patience and knowledge of the staff. Stacee was my budtender, she too was happy to walk me through the products and answered all my questions about different strains and inventory they carry (mainly prerolls). Both Terrance and Stacee are the reasons I will be coming back in the near future. (cough cough-even if it is all the way from East Tennessee!) Thanks again, y'all ! p.s. the glass next door is gorgeous- great prices and friendly faces there too!

This was the very first recreational store that I visited and I must say, I won't be returning. I have been an avid consumer of cannabis for over 10 years. I wound up feeling very rushed, felt as though I was being talked to like a child ( as though my knowledge of flowers and concentrates wasn't up to par ) and had a serious case of buyers remorse. The only pleasant part of the experience was the kind gentleman checking ID's out front. That was the only smile I saw during my entire stay at Uncle Ike's, that's kind of sad... The flowers that I purchased looked PHENOMENAL but I hated the fact that I couldn't smell or even see the bud up close in a jar or anything prior to purchase. I trusted my instinct and purchased some Maui, Animal Cookies and some Jack. When I'm telling you that the buds looked great, I'm not kidding. I also purchased some "wax" from them, the strain was .5g Flux Capacitor and 1g of Skywalker and trust me…they suck! I think it was some sort of trim run because both were dark brown and I would not have purchased this oil if I could see it. I trusted the budtender and I feel like I was told one thing and received another. I was so excited to grind up the flowers after my poor wax gave me more of a headache than a high and my D Nail smelled like shit for a good 2 minutes while it burned off the residual oil that I refused to smoke. The flowers ground up nicely and even had a bit of a nice aromatic flavor, I was excited. One hit in a bowl and I knew I had basically been robbed. Each strain tasted like there were literally ZERO terps in them. Each strain still sits in there respective packages and I refuse to smoke the product. Now I know that Uncle Ike's does not produce their own cannabis but if this is the type of product that their growers and producers provide on a regular basis then I will never go back. I know that Uncle Ike's is one of the most popular stores in the Seattle area, but there are plenty of other options for the seasoned smoker to visit to receive the type of customer service and product that they deserve. Let the novice smoker and the 9-5'er stay loyal to Uncle Ike's, I'll take my business elsewhere.

I love Uncle Ike's!! They have some of the best deals in Seattle. And Manny is our most favorite bud tender!! :)

The entire staff does such a great job here at this location THE CD from the door man always being on point to the budtenders and managers. We feel this location has been the staple store for IKES as well as the most friendly. PLENTY OF PARKING which is a plus and from Jason to Hilary, James and Garcia this is our GO TO STORE

They herd you like cattle. Coming into this shop after having excellent experiences in Colorado, Oregon, and other Washington shops where the budtenders are happy to see you and more than willing to provide lots of info, it was a rude awakening. I believe this is the ugly side of this industry. Capitalism at its finest. Sell them the stuff and move them out the door. I tip every budtender I've ever had extremely well. Not here. Most shops you walk into, you're assigned a tender for your visit, and you interact with them. They ask you what you're looking for, what medical ailments you may have, questions regarding previous experiences and then recommend proper medicine for you. This place makes you look at a menu and figure out what you want before approaching the counter. It's a pretty terrible vibe in there. They should just get rid of the tip jars, because their service isn't tip worthy. Product is great, but they aren't the ones producing the product so that shouldn't even be a part of this review. Also, I believe they overstate their thc percentages based on strain research.

I'm a big fan of Uncle Ike's. I've always had budtenders that were willing to help me pick something new out. I've never felt rushed by the staff, but I suppose the line of people waiting can cause anxiety in others. The selection is great. I usually end up with the cheap buds, but every now and then, it's nice to splurge on some fire. The worst part about going to Uncle Ike's is the construction on 23rd right now (not their fault) but I still stop by a couple times a month. Highly recommended, don't let the haters deter you from good cheap weed!

Really good prices

I've been coming to Uncle Ike's for quite awhile. Lately it's been more hassle than it's worth. They have an awesome selection but their staff isn't particularly helpful. It might not be their fault though; it's always so crowded that the whole experience is very "get-in-and-out-ASAP." Its glass shop next door has friendly staff though.

This is a tourist spot really. You are herded through a line like cattle and then feel rushed at the counter to make a decision without having time to really browse and see what selection they have. The budtenders are hit and miss. They seem to care more about volume of business over quality of the interaction but it is what it is. The selection is usually decent and they have another building full of paraphernalia in the same parking lot- that's nice and convenient and the staff takes more time with you next door.

I've gone to weed stores all across the state and Uncle Ike's is by far the best! They have top notch service every time, knowledgable staff, and fantastic prices!

The store looks great, in fact it it real easy to look around and get a sense of what is available to purchase besides flowers and edibles. I have been to several dispensaries and the quality has never been bad at any of them, so I am glad that Ikes gives me the same experience. My problem is the service. The line is long almost all the time. A few days I was able to go during the morning hours, but even by 11:30 - 12:15 the line is long enough for you to feel rushed by the time you get to the counter. The bud-tenders do not alleviate you of that feeling either. I have been at a few places where I have felt comfortable asking a few questions about the products that I am purchasing even it there are a lot of customers on the floor. Almost every time I ask a question at Ikes I get the feeling they are telling me what I want to hear to buy what I came in for. I had one employee in particular straight lie to me about a particular method of extraction for extracts. I can understand how they feel having to look at the really long lines all day, but I feel like as someone who has worked retail, that it is okay to say you don't know something. It really helps people figure out what they want. The prices are okay, but they typically run out of many strains quickly, and I constantly find myself spending more than I budgeted because I am "there" and don't want to wait to go to another store. I suppose if they get a more stable selection, and the bud-tenders get a little more experience or the lines get shorter I might go back. But for now there are a lot more locations that provide a much better service for less near where I work...

Love Ganja Goddess!! TONS of selection and room to actually look at it. NO lines as they have plenty of staff working behind the counters. You can shop. You don't have too look at a menu. I hate when a store wants me to pick out herb off of a worded menu. Seriously? No. Plus, this store feels like what a stoner wants. It's not too bright & sterile like a doctors office. You can look alone or talk to staff if it pleases you. The staff seem knowledgeable & are self users of the products so they can discuss with you on a personal level what they think of a particular strain/growers. I actually feel like they are honest in terms of telling me what they like & don't. I don't want someone just BS'ing me to sell me something. They don't seem like that. The staff seems real legit plus, they are SUPER friendly! I've had many good experiences where i end up chatting WAY longer than I planned out of enjoyment, so good job!

One of the best to look at products, though when there's a line, you feel that general sense of urgency. Therefore, I would go here if you don't have a lot of questions. They recommended to me a high CBD White Widow which has done wonders for my Epilepsy. I will be back again.

Ugh. I mean, it's there and convenient, and the glass shop next door is useful. Being herded through a line while deciding what you want on a novelty restaurant sized menu is not great, though. Theoretically people will help you decide when you get up there but at the expense of the long, winding line you were just in. Also the parking lot sucks, like, it would be less annoying if they just didn't have one.

Asked for 6 prerolls, didn't count them till I got home, but i only have 5. The chick behind the counter shorted me, I really doubt if it was intentional probably too stoned to even count... either way I'm really bummed I have to leave this review, cuz honestly I love unkle ikes, but that sh*t pissed me off.

I've been here many times and this is my go to place but with construction on the road outside its sometimes makes it a pain. Also depending on the time of day it gets packed and wait times are longer. However they always have good deals and they have so many varieties to choose from it makes the drive worth it.
