First and worst experience
#1 no bud tender
#2 you must pre order product without knowledge of smell sight or anything just sent to a room to place order then pick up
#3 no display jars with flower to see
And I get why they wouldn’t want peeps smelling or touching product
But the way they run this store is very impersona Il won’t ever go back
Then after all that I got in the car checking what they gave me, believe it or not they got it wrong
I had to go back and they had me stand outside in the winter cold and wait, it was not a happy good time at this store, the poeple were nice but as I said before that was the first and “ LAST” time I will go to that store

Paige did an excellent job today with my order
The hours on their website are wrong and the management has no issue blaming their problems on the patients.. They claim they are open until 9 pm at the bottom of their medical menu on their company website but they close their medical side at 8, causing me to drive for hours based off of incorrect information. I arrived 10 minutes after the medical side closed and I was disrespected, laughed at and denied entry.. The man at the front desk seemed to find enjoyment in telling me that there was nothing at all he could do for me and that I was not allowed to the front of the rec line "Which by law I am allowed as a medical marijuana patient" I had to speak to a manager to even get granted access to the building to buy low quality recreational products as a medical marijuana patient. The manager told me they would hold my medical preorders for me the next day considering the circumstances and that they would give me points for the drive because they would not give me points at the time with the medical side being closed. When I came in the next day they did not hold my pre-orders and they were out of stock of what I had driven in for twice now. They also did not apply my points like they said they would until I pretty much threw a fit. Nobody had ever spread the word of the disrespect that the employee in the front had showed me and the people in charge the next day had no clue anything had happened the night before because every single thing said to me was a lie. I asked one of the members of management if I could speak to them in person because I was getting upset in front of a whole room of people and I use my marijuana to help treat anxiety and they wouldn't even let me speak in a comfortable environment. Every employee and customer was staring at me as I tried to explain this horrible situation. What they did to reimburse multiple triggering events and 6 hours plus of driving was give me a free preroll of their lowest quality preroll that they had in stock. They they told me to not rely on their company website but to rely on leafly because it's up to date. That is also a lie. It shows the exact same products as their company website and their company website is incorrect, I just came from the store and I purchased something that has not been on either online menu in the last 48 hours.
This has been my dispensary since August 2019. I love the people who work here and they know me by name and they're always willing to help you out! I'm so very grateful to them! But I must say that the product has been lacking since mid December. And it seems I can't get the proper medicine to actually do what I need. We need better medical products and more choices please.
Getting worse and worse wasting money on 60dollar eighths is getting annoying really fast. Need to have halfs and or at least quads. Real tired of paying over a hundred bucks for a quad and being told we will have more shake and popcorn nugs soon. I know I'm not the only one thinking this either.
Luckily I stocked up in the beginning of December and made it through xmas. The staff is wonderful and friendly. Unfortunately the stock is pitiful and selection is terrible since the 1st of the year. This is obviously in the control of the corporation and the new money stream for recreational sales and a much higher price target than the medical patients produced. I am now looking into switching dispensaries as Leafly has abandoned the medical system for the more lucrative recreational customer. The proof is in the lack of product compared to the competition
I am medical patient. It took many months of experimenting with what works for my pain. They have a serious supply chain management problem. They never seem to keep the same edibles. I don't smoke so flower does not fit. I had the perfect combo worked out for may pain but have been unable to get it here. Since rec started the dispensary has really changed. Used to be they had good advice and never ran out.
I didn't like the way that since Dec , they have been selling the year old oil that ther have been saving up for the 1st but when it got here t hr ere was less than before and it was t the e worst quality ever. You can't even get high or taste anything. I have been telling you since the beginning do I have to go to Verano and tell them their G6 is garbage and you keep ripping people off with it?? I still have my boxes and receipts. maybe instead of all of this going on you could have gave me a refund or exchange for something I would like if you ever got anything that wasn't on the recreational side. That's why you all do it that way. because you want to make all the money off the rec side so you say screw the medical fakers. I am not a faker. I would not be so upset and pissed off if it weren't for you guys and IDPH sending stuff to me about weed being bad for your brain. another one saying it is bad for your hypothalamus. That is part of my brain they operated on. That is what controls your hormones. I usually never have seizures during the day. I have 3in 19 years. they were all because I was upset about things. this time it was all the trouble you are putting me through.I always thought Marissa was the sweetest girl in there. It will be sad not seeing her anymore. I don't have many friends. Thanks to John too. I think he wanted to open it as medical marijuana shop, he seemed concerned about peoples health and how its would be nice to get off of your prescription meds and use medical marijuana. Whenever I write about this I get messages about marijuana not being good for your brain. I used to get them s as lying how good that it is for it. I think my brain is in better shape than most of yours. I sure can Express my feelings better than you. If I knew someone that needed a like concentrate when you owe me 4 jars I am not so money hungry to say NO REFUND, NO EXCHANGE. EVEN THOUGH I LOOKED IT UP IN THE MARIJUANA LAW BOOKS AND PEOPLE HAVE 30 DAYS NOT TWO WEEKS. PLUS I TRIED WITHIN THE 2 WEEKS AND THE VERILIFE LADY SAID SORRY THAY YOU IN OTTAWA WERE GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND . NOW THE WHOLE COMPANY ANS STATE HATES ME FOR TRYING TO GET SOME GOOD OIL ON THE MEDICAL MENU.
If the rumors are true that this location is stockpiling for Jan 1, the management should be fired. Medical patients are suffering and wasting money on trash. Staff is great but something is way off.
Still is a great place to shop. I noticed the quality issue with 1 brand but id recommended this dispensary.
Sorry Ottawa, changing to Morris. Over 300 products available to your 71. Took 1 phone call to there location to change my paperwork and 24 hours later I was able to restock my supplies with no problem and TONS of choices. Love the staff but I need my products!!!!
The process for me, being a medical card holder is phenomenal. I was ushered in first before Rec and I had ordered before hand. I love pre order. I do strongly dislike the location in Ottawa. I wish or hope one day you can build a stand alone building with ample space to wait outside. Thank you!
Everyone always so nice and helpful. Only thing that annoys me is waiting n watching all the recreational people come n go before me cuz only one register for medical.
Love the people they are awesome! Disappointed in selection on medical side! Seems more cbd based, l require more the based. The wait for medical compared to recreational is very disappointing.
I’ve been going to Verilife almost exclusively for a year now. Though I wish there were more concentrates available they seem to try and keep a little bit of everything on the menu. I do appreciate medical patients getting in and out quickly, the friendly greeting by name, and the awesome attitudes every staff member has had with me. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sour bud tender working. So thank you guys for keeping my happy place happy!
The atmosphere is great, the workers are great however since legalization the availability of products has gone downhill. There were 12 of us medical students waiting this morning for assistance, many of us had pre-ordered but the wait was still close to an hour. I have used Avexia 1:1 Harmony pain balm for months and now they say they can't get it, they offer a lotion instead. Several of us were talking in the waiting room and all us of were lamenting that, the lotion is not effective. However, the Normal Illinois dispensary does have it. Strange, and frustrating. It is however, still a great place.
The staff and everyone was very friendly, the process was smooth. I like the fact that you can pre order and there are separate registers for Medical and recreational. All in all dispensary is well organized and the people have always been professional and very knowledgeable. The only thing that didn’t make sense to me was the Belly points and how they are distributed. I was asked if I would like to use 35 Belly points for 15 dollars off. Well I got 6 dollars off, when I was asked why I was told it is because they combine the belly point “rewards” discount with disability discount. So since I was getting the 9 dollar discount for being disabled they didn’t honor the 15 off for the rewards points I earned. Instead of taking 15 additional dollars off the purchase because of the points I earned through visits, they took 6 off and added it to the 9 dollar discount for persons with disabilities. I understood the math and how it was “explained”, but it didn’t make much sense and am curious as to whom came up with that idea. But overall the dispensary and people are cool, their rewards system has some things to be worked out.
