For Theater goers you can catch a performance in the Barter Theatre in Abingdon, VA.  It is the longest running professional theater in the U.S.  The Virginia Creeper Trail is found in Abingdon and is an excellent spot for strolls, bike rides and horseback riding. Nestled in the Shenandoah Valley is the town of Luray, best know for its Luray Caverns - the largest cave system in the eastern U.S.  Explore this underground wonderland with its stunning stone formations.
