Psychedelic Science 2017 Conference: Leafly Reports From the Front Lines

This weekend, Leafly is traveling to Oakland to attend the 2017 Psychedelic Science conference put on by MAPS. This will be the third international conference led by MAPS, preceded by gatherings in 2010 and 2013.

MAPS, which stands for Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the research and development of psychedelic and cannabis medicines. Founded in 1986 by Rick Doblin, MAPS is one of the strongest investigative forces worldwide pushing to explore the potential of taboo substances like cannabis, MDMA, psilocybin, LSD, and other psychedelic and plant medicines.
