Pineapple Express

I have Lupus, so chronic fatigue, pain, stress, and depression are a daily battle. I primarily look for energizing, mental and physical pain releaving, and anti-inflammatory strains.
While far from my favorite, Pineapple Express is intriguing for the complexities of its tandem mental and physical buzz... the UFO of weed that I have thus far experienced.
The first thing I should mention is that PEX hits hard. HARD. Harder than any strain I've tried. The first time I took my average 3 second draw, it felt like Jimi Hendrix busted open my door and flower-power chest kicked me through the wall.
For me, the two themes that overlay PEX's effects are stimulation, and intoxication.
Stimulation in that my mind is kicked into full gear creativity wise, ready to put my mind to something fun or interesting... but intoxication in that I am so spacey and unfocused that I can't harness that creativity constructively or enjoyably, while my body is so uncoordinated and dizzy I can't do anything I normally do to have fun or be productive.
So it's kinda like booz, only more energized. I think it would be good for a party or a night with some friends. Outside of that, not really sure.
Overall, not my cup of tea. It allows more anxiety and causes more paranoia than I'm willing to tolerate too. Not bad, but still too much. One of the few strains I can be in a bad mood on provided I dont toke enough to get a mid level high.
Oh well. Que sera.
