I've recently re-entered the cannabis scene and have been trying out many of the different strains. I was a little apprehensive about trying GG4 since I thought it would leave me glued to my couch, but it had such good reviews I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm glad I did! This strain is absolutely amazing. I purchased it from Surterra in "little buds" format (21.5% thc) and smoked it in a dry herb vape at 400 degrees. After my second or third hit I felt an overwhelming sense of calm and relaxation take over my body and mind. The sun on my face and wind blowing against my skin felt amazing and I was very content just sitting there. I even had a few instances of goose bumps on my arms and legs. As I continued to smoke these feelings increased and my mind went into a very deep thought mode. I stared at my foot and was astonished by how many ways my ankle could move! lol My favorite part about the effects of this strain is the ability to make it what you want. If you want to cook dinner and clean the house, you can. If you want to relax and binge on Netflix you can. Or you can sit outside and admire the beauty of the world around you. It allowed me to "choose my own adventure" so to speak. When it wears off after roughly 3 hours it did make me a little tired, but not too sleepy. I very highly recommend you try this strain as it was a wonderful surprise for me and has quickly moved up to my favorite one!

Purchased this flower from my local Trulieve. It was rated at 20% THC. The buds were dense and moist. Smoked it through my dry herb vape at 380 degrees. Nice mellow body high. Felt very comfortable sitting in one spot, but not couch locked. Increased my feeling of happiness. Almost no cerebral change except maybe slightly more talkative. Was able to think and speak fine. When it started to taper off after 2-3 hours I did get a little sleepy, but it wasn't too bad. Seems like this might be a good daytime strain for those who smoke during the day and want to feel relaxed, but still be able to do stuff. Although, in my opinion, it didn't smell nor taste like bubble gum.

I purchased 1/8 of Mandarin Cookies from Rise dispensary and thus far I've been very happy with it. The total THC content is only 12.071%, but it still provides a good high. I smoke it with a dry herb vape and has a nice mild affect. I feel relaxed and happy, but still functional and able to get stuff done. If I smoke a lot it can cause a small amount of drowsiness, but it's not overwhelming.

It did relax me during the first 30-60 minutes but after that it made me extremely tired. I slept 9 hours (so if you are looking for something to help you sleep this could be it) and I felt groggy and foggy after waking up.
