This is a pretty strong indica-dominant. 15 minutes after smoking half a joint, I am feeling the stillness move through my body, while a nascent cloudy feeling throttles my consciousness. For the next 35 minutes, I sit and focus with rarefied passion on the satisfaction I am exuding. Another 30 minutes passes and my eyelids are weighted against the forceful push of the strain. I decide to smoke the other half of the joint to prolong my blissful journey. I begin to experience the saga all over again, but this time the weight becomes too heavy of a burden to carry any longer. I fall asleep within this cocoon of relaxation. I wake up early the next morning and realize that I am still at work. I remind myself not to try this strain at work again as I head home.

Beautiful buds, resplendent buzz, and gustatory bliss are intimated directly into the consciousness with this strain. After sparking up, be prepared to ponder the absurdities of existence, begin to freak the eff out, and finally slide down into a reflective ennui. It is the latter state from which this review is authored.

It’s a nice cerebral high with a steady and energized trajectory. However, I always feel tired and hazy when coming down off sour diesel. That is not necessarily a bad thing — I prefer that in the evening — but I don’t think this is the best strain if you want to be real active for a prolonged period of time. To avoid this I would recommend daisy chaining your highs. As soon as you start to come down smoke a little more to keep the high going into the evening when the soporific effects of the come down are desired. That makes this as an all day high, which, once again, is not necessarily a bad thing.
