Browsing through the local rec shop, my boyfriend - a US Marine Vet with a lot of back and muscle injury problems - was really hesitant to pick out a strain. He ended up settling on 9 Pound Hammer in a pre-roll and he has never looked back since. The high is extremely couch locking, but also uplifting and cures all of his muscle aches and pains. After a good night's sleep accompanied by a J of 9 LBS, he wakes up feeling like a brand new man. I personally don't suffer from very many aches or pains, but I can agree that after smoking this strain my body has never felt better.

Ahh... Jack Herer... I had heard stories about "The Best Sativa" from friends and sought out the strain for months at local Seattle rec shops before finally finding it a few blocks from my work. (Go figure, right?) The high is.... different. I am fully functioning, creative, more talkative, light headed.... it almost feels like a better version of me. When I smoke Jack Herer I feel like I'm more charismatic, more artistic... the only downside is the high doesn't come accompanied with any distinct body sensation in my experience, and the high ends pretty quickly. Other than that, it's great. Awesome for getting through a long day or trying to find a spark of creativity.

I normally do not smoke Indicas because I find "couch lock" annoying. That said, this strain is amazing. Yes, there is a bit of couch lock, but it's accompanied by this light, tingly, floating sensation that rolls through your body, completely relaxing you.
