Guys were friendly enough, and I like that they weigh your purchase out in front of you deli style instead of a bag/jar that was packed who knows how long ago. Prices are the lowest I've seen in the state, enough so that I drove a few hours to check them out. Turns out, you get what you pay for unfortunately. Bought a zip of some badder, looks and smells pretty nice in the jar, but it absolutely reeks of sulphur when you dab it. Why might that be? Likely answer is that someone did a sulphur burn to try and salvage a moldy crop, but did it way too late into flowering and the buds absorbed the smell. Crop would be essentially unsellable as flower, so instead of getting rid of it, they went ahead made oil with it... which is pretty shady. Beyond the taste and smell, who knows if the burn was even effective? Might be chock full of mycotoxins too. In the end, not something I'd roll the dice on smoking even if it didn't taste like crap. Could just be a bad batch for them and I got unlucky, and the high end is likely better, but this even making it to the menu is a red flag for me. I'd definitely buy a gram to try first before making any kind of bulk purchase.
