My ratings are so low for service because of my recent experience. I loved GL, and there have never been any delays or confusion for me when ordering until now, and the staff did not handle it well at all. It took 50+ minutes of confusion to place my order, over an hour if you count the phone calls I made prior to arriving.
I arrived for curbside PICKUP, and realized on my own that my online order hadn’t gone through. A budtender happened to walk up to my window when I pulled up as I was reordering on my phone, and recommended that I do FULL SERVICE curbside rather than resubmitting my PICKUP order as the latter would take longer and push me back in the queue. So, I texted the curbside number immediately as instructed by the budtender (who said I just need to text the same curbside pickup number I’ve used in the past and say that I’d like to place a full service curbside order. No other details as far as what info they will need for Full service, so I assumed my name and total would be taken/calculated after checking my card and ordering.)
Well, whoever is behind the phones today rudely responded, with back to back texts such as “Name??? Cash??? Card?? We need to know these exact things.” They basically were rudely asking for more information that I didn’t know I needed to provide for FULL SERVICE, but I complied without complaint thinking “oh They’re probably super busy, nbd.” It was taking a little long, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because it was closing time.
30 minutes late I texted the curbside number again about the unusual wait, because even on busier days it has never taken this long. I was then told via text that the wait was my fault for “taking too long” to provide order details even though the budtender who gave me instructions when I pulled up did not inform me of all of the Info I was supposed to provide for a full service curbside order. Regardless though, from the time I actually did send all of the necessary details, it still took over 30 minutes to get my order and I watched ALL of the other patients pull up, order, and leave without an issue and within about 10 minutes per car. I was the last one to leave at like 8:20 PM and I got there before 7:30.
To make things even worse, when the budtender finally came out, he had my order and total wrong. No fault to him personally, but that was the cherry on top of this bad experience for me.
There was one time a few months back where they actually skipped my curbside order mistakenly, and gave me a discount for the extra 20 min I had to wait when I didn’t even mind or ask for it. That was wonderful service!This time, not only was no compensation offered, but the staff seemed very apathetic and dismissive.
I just think it’s incredibly rude to blame a continued customer for an unusual wait, especially for the amount of money I spend at this dispensary. I am very am disappointed and not sure if I’ll be back.
