I had an awful experience tonight with Planned Provisions Whitmore Lake as a first time customer this evening. I placed a delivery order via Leafly at 5pm for a 7pm delivery, and at 7:18 after no movement I commented on the portal to request a status update on my order. At 7:35 after no response in Leafly, I called their location. I was hung up on 5 times from their front office after they were unable to transfer me to the right department in their store to check the status of my order. After my 6th call, the front desk gave up, gave me their number and asked me to call their delivery department directly.
The delivery department explained that they had a tough day with three drivers, but that a driver was coming back to take my order and I would have it by 9pm. 9:30pm rolls around, and I call the store back with no update on my portal and no delivery.
I was then told on the phone that their flint location had recently closed and that it had caused a trickle down effect to their drivers. My order was never even filled and they best they could do was offer 15% discount and shared that they could set up a delivery for tomorrow. After requesting a 9 am delivery time at the beginning of their listed delivery hours, I was then told that the drivers have a hard time getting out in the morning so it'd be likely 10:30 at the earliest that I would actually have a delivery.
My entire evening was wasted, and the apathy from their store staff after being treated this way was unacceptable.
I would avoid this company. It was clear that my business as a new customer did not matter.
