For being such an iconic and classic strain, it is incredibly hard to find just straight Sour Diesel in Ohio. It has been number one on my bucket list of classic strains I want to try (along with things like Grandaddy Purple, Jet Fuel, Maui Waui, etc.) but the closest I've ever gotten was strains like Sour Tangie and Sour Blue Diesel, two of my other favourites. My love for Sour Tangie and Sour Blue Diesel led me on this multiple year long mission to find Sour Diesel by any means. I'm not a giant fan of the brand I got it from, but this iconic sativa delivers immediately upon smoking it. For me, the high is SUUUUPER wiry and energized, almost to the point of straight up staring at a wall and just experiencing the pure energy. This insane feeling, borderline psychedelic, was the precise feeling that I experienced when recreational marijuana was legalized, and I purchased a Sour Tangie cartridge for my first ever cop in the program. Pure, unadulterated, raw high that is almost way too much. Take this review with a grain of salt because I am extremely sensitive to strains known for being refreshing or uplifting, and semi-frequently and inadvertently take it too far with these types of strains, but I would honestly rate it as a near perfect strain. It deeply saddens me that this pickup is a rarity and I'll have to savor this for as long as I can, but I am so very thankful to God for putting this on His Green earth for me, a tiny little man, to enjoy.

Sour Tangie is one of, if not, my all time favourite strain(s) to smoke, but recently I got my hands on some RSO of it! Taste of the RSO is very similar to the flower, sweet but chemical-filled orange with hints of ammonia. Honestly very funky but very tasty. I'd say that so far this has been one of the best experiences out of many I've had with Sour Tangie. As you start to get higher and higher, it feels like your brain is a guitar amplifier and a little man is inside your head slowly turning up the gain. Pretty gradual but a feeling, almost like impending doom, takes over and you fear that little man is about to turn on an overdrive pedal. Overall pretty jittery and electrifying, I'm not a sativa smoker but I love this strain because of how euphoric and potent it is. Great experience for anyone who's a veteran, and especially those who like very intense sativas.

Absolutely insane strain. The flavour is STRAIGHT blue cheese. It's kind of disgusting, to those who do not like that flavour profile. Smell is equally foul and sour, like a cheese overrun with mold. Another one of those strains where I say one might "make a face" after taking their first hit ever of it. Very warm, giggly, and inviting effects. After onset, one with depression issues might find themselves more comfortable in their own skin. Uplifting high, increasing ability to focus in lower amounts, but is 100% a candidate to make one stare at the wall if they smoke too much. This is one of those strains where I take one hit off the Luster pod and feel like I could be as high as 3 hits off of a different pod. Amazing strain, will always recommend.

I don't know if it was the pheno or what, but this was definitely less sweet than i was expecting. Interestingly, the more of the pod that I smoked, the sweeter it got. There's a disgusting (in a good way) hint of blue cheese from the Grape MAC, a sweet floral undertone from the Runtz. Very solid and complex flavour profile, one is likely to involuntarily make a face after the first hit. Effects hit like a sativa leaning strain, cerebral buzz followed by giggles. Shortly after the rapid onset the full effects set in to be a more rounded hybrid, but in my opinion definitely leans sativa. Fingertips start to feel like a space-heated static is brewing in them, and the whole body becomes relaxed. Definite potential to overdo it and get too blasted (hence my paranoia selection) 8/10 strain, solid lineage, flavour profile has depth, and effects do not disappoint.

Absolute knockout strain. Light and sweet on the nose, lungs, but painfully potent on the entire body. This is one of those strains where 15 minutes after smoking it, you suddenly feel overwhelmingly at peace and (in my case, differences with everybody) INSANELY tired. Seriously, I've had trouble sleeping my entire life. I physically cannot stay awake for more than 2, maybe 3 hours after smoking this strain. 10/10 indica

What a strain!!! Taste is like orange Fanta with VERY light hints of peppercorn. Effects are very heavy but relaxing and intensely euphoric. Maybe a good strain to smoke when there's nothing else to do for a while that day. Won't put you down but might make you useless for a bit until you stop staring at the wall!
