Very quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Nothing anxiety raising at all, quite chill. Could've used some light music to break the silence, but I'm not complaining! :) Although the budtender was MORE than accomodating and super friendly helping me to read the jars labels on their flower, if waiting for help I'd have not been able to read them on my own. Too far back from the counter to see. THAT was the ONLY drawback to the entire store! Everything else was perfect! Stopped in on a Friday morning, but can't remember the budtender's name (sorry, I'm horrible with names!). But I can tell you how much she rocked! Knew her stuff, for sure! Will definitely be back in more often. Keep up the good work guys! ***** <---Five Stars

Fantastic! Only stopped in once, but as far as I can tell, this place is what a Dispensary should be! No rushing by the budtender, calm/cool/collected/patience.... WIDE variety of consumables, medicinal delivery devices, clones, swag, and even free candy in the lobby (if you have to wait or not!) ...cannot appreciate that enough, for us few medical patients that also have diabetes and need that blood sugar in crisis) :) Dude at the desk and also budtender was amazing, chill, friendly and cool! My friends....this is what is disappearing from Portland yet necessary for the overall image/stigma of Cannabis: a dispensary that does everything right, from entry to exit! 5-stars and a slow clap for the admiration and respect you deserve!!!!!!

Fantastic! Upstanding people! There was a misprint on the leafly menu (for pricing) and they still honored the faux pas. Unlike 90% of all other Westside dispensaries, they're not overpriced, not a rundown building (very clean!), open reasonable business hours (other unnamed dispensaries on the Westside close at 6pm) and quite polite! I've been to many many dispensaries all over Portland, and La Mota does it right! Oh, and Jason rocks! Thanks man!! Highly recommended!!! So glad you came to my neighborhood; my new spot for sure!

Sooo chill. Very down-to-earth. Love it! As any Dispensary should be, they are on "island time". Everything is relaxed. Comfy. They also know their stuff when it comes to strains, medicinal strains, specific symptom relief, and overall cannabis in general. Quite knowledgable! One can tell they've been around for awhile. Highly recommended! I will definitely be back! Also, they sell some killer coffee beans! Smells outstanding! (Extra perk!)

This is a definitive Recreational store. They have tons of smoking accessories, vaping, etc. And so-so bud for the prices on the Westside (nothing supremely outstanding as far as quality) But be warned fellow Medical Patients!!! You are but one of the crowd to them. They "say" medical gets priority, but I watched 8 people head in to the back before me, and they arrived after I did. Only 2 of those 8 were medical and they just walked right in! It gets better/worse. In the back, the budtender tries to charge me Recreational prices (w/ tax). I reiterate that I'm a cardholder (for the 3rd time this visit alone), and he apologizes, charges me regular med price, but totally ignores the Wednesday special (whom I might add is only for Patients & Caregivers anyhow). Seems like I wasnt wanted to be there at all... Friendly as they are, they need to make up their minds on nomenclature. Are you a Medical Dispensary? Or a Recreational Cannabis Store? Unless there's a SPECIFIC strain I'm looking for, I don't believe I'll be back.

Despite other negative reviewers, I had a fantastic experience here! The staff hangs around on the couches because they are on a State mandated break; and I think it's totally cool for them to spend their own personal time chatting with their customers! Shows love and passion for what they do! Medibles are in a plethora of amount. Flower is sticky & tasty. Although I have the patience of the Buddha, they got super busy super fast, and apologized for my inconvenience (which was really the OMMP database's fault anyways, not theirs). Smiling friendly group! Will continue to visit AND recommend to all! Thumbs Up guys!!!

So relaxed you kinda feel like you walked into relative's house! Very cool! These guys are down to earth, non-corporate, chill people. Younger budtender (& greeter) is one of the most gorgeous women I've ever seen! Herb is Top quality! Sticky-Icky!! For the other reviewer regarding price, welcome to the Westside. These guys are pretty on par. Unlike others ***cough-cough-shango-cough***..... Thumbs up all the way! Love these guys!
