One of the hardest and most potent hitters I've ever had the pleasure to try. Only had it once, Bought a quarter. It smelled literally like THC, or maybe like a really stronger platinum OG smell, like just pure THC smelling, it was extremely dense and sticky while also having a ''fluff'' look to it, and the trichomes gave the buds an aura of grey/extremely whte/milkyness , while the leaf color wasn't really exposed but you can faintly see it underneath being a nice light evergreen green color the same as when evergreens have their white pollen on their green needles. Hope I can find this strain one day in my life again... In my top 3 forsure!
This is going to be a quick in depth review of Toronto Leaf Dispensary.
First off I would like to say I've been a patient under the MMPR and my LP used to be TWEED, Tilray., until the every four month renewel became a pain in the ass to set up, I started going to dispensaries. I originally went to The Toronto Dispensary and could say they were the best until they got shut down recently :( The owners were awesome they had amazing deals and the best flower.
Once they closed I started going to the newly opened Canna Clinics.
I used Canna clinics for about three months until I started noticing the lack of professionalism in their business model and quality of flower especially. Terrible service and they hire mostly kids who want to think they have a cool job. After a bad incident at one of the canna clinics I cancelled my sign up there and said I would look for a better clinic.
I googled dispensaries and found a thread on Reddit about this new location and brand new store Toronto Leaf dispensary. I'm from richmond hill and when I saw the location of this store on google maps I was relieved that I didn't have to travel really anywhere after getting off the yonge university subway line finch to queen easy access no walk. The store is just outside of the queen station to the east less than 100 metres away. 112 is the address.
First off, I was greeted by a very nice person who brought up conversation about the cold weather and where I'm from and how I heard about them. Very friendly and comfortable. I can say the inside is very modern, nice looking and clean. Absolutely not busy, They have a private business model so they have a waiting room and a purchase room. They help one patient at a time which is VERY appealing as they don't make you think you are holding people up, they want to carefully help you and let you take your time to look at their product and have a more personal experience with the bud tender.
The lighting: Ok this is important and underrated because this place has actual bright lights that you can really inspect what you're going to buy
The product: Huge selection of buds, and I start now with saying this dispensary actually lets you touch the samples and inspect and examine the bud vigorously to personally identify the quality of the flower that you enjoy under your own perception. Seriously the trim job on this dispensaries stuff is 100%. perfectly trimmed buds. The consistency of the buds is another score. All dense, Sticky buds. And I'm not lying. Every strain I touched and looked at was notably sticky, and notably dense, I would squeeze it and watch them stick to my finger and unable to even squeeze them they were so dense. The smells were premium and I was extremely extremely extremely happy with the service and my purchase. I purchased a quarter of Pink Cookies, and a quarter of Rockstar, along with a gram of White Rhino shatter by Diamond concentrates. I'm doing this review in comparison to canna clinics as I was going there frequently for three months after my MMPR expired. People reading this if you're sick of Canna clinics huge lineups and low stock on quality pot(if they ever do have quality pot) Then make your way here, every single strain is amazing and you guys need to check out their blue dream. I don't think you'lle find a better blue dream anywhere in toronto. Densest/stickiest blue dream I've ever seen. The pink cookies really tastes like some sort of sugar cookie with that pink kush aftertaste. The rockstar is the hard hitter.
The ashe on the burned flower nice and white, and another thing I want to add is: the smoke
The smoke on these high quality flowers are extremely smooth. Usually when I smoke dense sticky weed it makes me cough very hard and almost die, but I can say that this weed is of higher quality. It gives me the same heavy stone initially while hitting it except it doesn't make me die and choke off the smoke, which I usually relate to very strong potent marijuana, so the fact that its giving me that strong closed-eye punch in the head after hitting it as well as not killing me or making me die after hitting it is a huge, huge indicator that this is some of the best pot right now that I've found in the last 6-8 months. Head on over I really enjoyed my experience here and I won't be using any other dispensary from now on, I can't wait to make my second visit and see what they have next time and I haven't been that excited to go back to a dispensary for their new stock since The Toronto Dispensary closed down on wellesley. The owner /tender Told me they are going to be getting WAY better weed than what they have and I was like What? Better than the stuff that I already see? DANG! OK?!? And he also said he's getting Moon Rocks, which is another reason why I will go back. I have found my new go to spot for medicine. Just going to list some good things here:
Lighting - This should be mandatory in any medicine store and this place got it down pat. Perfect lighting
Business model- private/high end store serving one patient at a time
Quality of flower - dense, sticky, perfectly trimmed buds. Noted on stickiness and denseness and variety of strains/smells. They basically have the whole spectrum, fruity kushy spicy pinky piney smells, Every smell you can think of, Except probably chocolate and vanilla haha.
The smoke: Pink cookies has an amazing taste and smooth but heavy hit, basically putting me in the green zone after a few hits.
The taste: Thtaste of these flowers are amazing, definately the most premium you can find or atleast that I've found in the last 6-8 months. Pink cookies really does taste like a sugar cookie with pink aftertones and the rockstar smells like the old street rockstar which smelled like pink kush back in the day that would circulate on the streets before pink kush would be on the streets and hits you hard with a heavy stone.
Quality of communication - the bud tender is very calm and puts you in a personalized space where its just you and him talking, nobody standing behind you waiting to buy, and people have to wait in a seperate waiting room which is a bonus for everybodies personal comfort and finding that comfort to get exactly what you want without making the wrong decision.
Quality of freedom - as to inspect the product and touch freely(which most dispensaries don't allow and causes a lot of problems)
Location - Just off queen subway stop 75 metres to the east
general - Very quiet place. No noise, No loud ass music, no messes anywhere, no taxes, no issues really. All dispensaries should be like this.
Comparison - I can happily say this place is giving me the same feels that The Toronto Dispensary gave me. Best selection of weed I've seen since going to TTD, even maybe higher quality. When you are excited to want to go back after just buying, thats when you know its a place worth staying.. Unlike canna clinics every single time I left I was left unsatisfied and emotionally upset literally angry and having to calm myself down every time I left because it was really bad like having to convince myself not to be upset and to accept what I bought. People selling me dry weed telling me its their stickiest and you can't know yourself until you take it home and smoke it because you're not allowed to touch their weed. Lol what a shame. Please come to The Toronto Leaf Dispensary you'lle have peace of mind and a great experience. Hope these guys stay in business. Thanks again guys.

I am a homeless youth in Toronto and I have my green card. Whenever I go to Toronto dispensary they are the most freidnly people that I come across . Whenever I grab weed from them they always give me a little bit more considering that I am homeless. I love marina and she makes the atmosphere cool and calm and always knows exactly what she's talking about in a way I can understand more than the other emplyees. They have given me great deals on weed and every time I go the weed is unreal and hits me like an arrow through the forehead and makes me unable to open my eyes and all around stoned. I love their weed and the store. Try their Pink Kush, and Death star
Best location in GTA definately.... best place to put it.. best flower, knowledgeable staff. Overall pleased to be a customer. Their Medman Rockstar is 120$ for an Oz that is absolutely unreal.. gotta see it to believe it, The Sweet Skunk is Top notch too. I come here often now! Staff take their time working with you and making sure you are alright!
