Afghan Skunk is a surprising strain. I picked up an 1/8 for a measly $10 at Local’s Cannahouse in Spokane Valley, Wash. For such a cheap price, it’s a good strain. As others have noted it’s an absolutely wonderful sleep aid. I don’t have insomnia, but once in a while it’s nice to have a little help getting to sleep. I wear a Fitbit watch while I sleep and it consistently tells me I get above the average ratio of REM and deep sleep on nights I go to bed after smoking Afghan Skunk. If that wasn’t enough, it’s a solid head high with mild amounts of time distortion and euphoria. ‘Nuff said.

Sour Diesel is one of my favorite strains for getting housework done. With a small dosage, I’m able to feel happy and pleasant while going about chores—no impatience at all, just a mild feeling of satisfaction with each and every sweep of the broom. You can stay productive with a nice high. I don’t like Sour Diesel quite as much for larger toking sessions. It’s still a good high, rather heady for a sativa, but productivity declines sharply and I’ve even felt anxious and overly-aware of my heartbeat on this one. Solid strain.

I may be a newcomer to this thing, but Sour OG is my favorite strain so far. It's a pretty "in your face" hybrid as these things go, as I'm in a state of somewhat intense tripping. My concept of time is off, but happily so. I'm in the moment. I'm energetic, switching between tasks pretty often. I do have the munchies like nobody's business, which is worth noting. I'm energetic, still creative and not couch-locked, which is great. But neither do I ever get a feeling of paranoia or jitters or anything. A truly awesome strain.
