Casey Jones reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Casey Jones.
“Drivin’ that train, high on this strain. Casey jones you better.. watch your speed” not only does this strain make me think of the grateful dead it also makes me think about my snack closet. I absolutely love this strain and would totally buy it again. Uplifting, creative, talkative, everything i could ask for.
Great strain with a unique sativa effect. It gave us the energy to stay awake but also the relaxed effects of an indica making us all very comfortable overall. It was a super chill smoke that I would recommend for small social gatherings where you can relax and still be out and still be social. We didn't have any anxiety or paranoia. I didn't get hyper analytical (I can get that way sometimes with a high energy sativa). It was a great overall experience and I'd definitely recommend trying it for yourself.
I've had this in a concentrate before and really liked it. Just tried the flower from moxie, and it's even better in bud form. Is very tasty, huge fluffy buds and and a great energetic high, much like a mimosa strain.
This strain is especially smooth. With each initial pull it brings nostalgia back for me. The taste you think of is a cool citrusy one, mixed with old good feelings. Casey Jones helps with my mood dramatically. Such rainy or dreary days I turn to Casey to lift my spirits. This sativa is pretty versatile strain all on its own. To label it down to one dominate would be an injustice. The strain's speed is clocked in a way that, rises you to a plateau rather then speeding up and crashing down. This strain is an all around winner in my book.
Gave this a shot and I don’t hate it, but I don’t think I’d seek it out. I personally prefer a stronger buzz feeling and this one is pretty short; it mellows out about halfway through and leaves more of a subtle mental high. It’s a good day strain and helps me let go after a tough day but it just doesn’t quite hit how I’d like. I do struggle with lack of appetite from a history of stomach issues and eating disorders, and it helps me want to eat without feeling sluggish
A non racey, uplifting, cerebral high. Great for creativity and social situations. Hits very quickly, but is not overwhelming. Great for wake and bake or daytime sessions. Nice flavour with hints of citrus and fuel with an overall woody, earthy taste.
I can see Casey Jones becoming a favourite. It’s a very nice uplifting, focused, happy buzz. So good for creativity, puts you in a great headspace for making music, painting or whatever creative outlet you may enjoy.
So far I’ve only vaped using an Arizer Air, will roll a couple for a round of golf tomorrow, get the feeling this may be a go to strain for the links.
This one didn't really do it for me. I would say that it was aptly named, as it gave me a sort of racy head high with some impairment of motor skills that made me feel somewhat out of control. ("Drivin' that train!...") Almost like being inebriated, but less enjoyable to me. After that initial rush, the high calms down quickly, but I didn't really feel high in a particularly enjoyable way. Just somewhat altered. One of the things I look for in a good strain is the ability to positively affect mood. This one did not do that for me. The taste also left a lot to be desired. Bought at Harvest Dispensary in Pueblo, CO.
TLDR; Cleaned my whole apartment in a day, started my vegetable garden, got some exercise in. Later in the night as it wore off, I slept like a baby.
My god! I've been a long time smoker for some time now, changing preferences along the way. Currently, sativa's are my go-to. I have bi-polar, severe social anxiety as well as mild depression. These ailments make it very difficult for me to get up and start my day. Casey Jones takes all of that difficulty away. The colors are brighter, the bird songs are sweeter, & the mojo returns. 10/10 favorite strain, of all time.
