Chocolope reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Chocolope.
Nice high, smooth toke, good bang for the buck. Relaxing, does not make you sleepy and no munchies which is plus.
Wow! I picked up 3 grams of Chocolope KIEF at Delta 9 Collective ($30 total) and made a batch of Perfect Chocolate Chip cookies (see CooksIllustrated.com for recipe - damn good cookies even without the herb). This recipe lends itself to baking with kief due to the butter needing to be melted first. I melted the butter in a skillet and then melted the kief into the butter and let it simmer for about 2 minutes. Baked at a slightly lower temp (360F for 10 minutes) so as not to vaporize the THC.
The recipe yielded 24, 1-ounce cookies (using a #40 scoop to provide uniform cookie size). Waiting the 10 or so minutes before I could try a cookie nearly killed me.
First of all, cookies baked fresh - cannot be beat! I started with half a cookie, not really knowing the strength with only 3 grams. I felt a mild buzz in the head about 40 minutes after eating. I waited another 20 minutes to see if anything else would strengthen... and then I had the other half. So I had 1 one-ounce cookie.
SHAZAM! Beautiful high, great euphoria and giggles. Colors and sound were crazy. Then a great body stone - tingles down to my toes. Maybe 3/4 of a cookie would have made a good dose, but damn - just eat the whole cookie. Next time I will bake with 5 grams of kief. But for now I have 23 remaining balls of dough waiting to be baked.
Cooking the kief on the stove didn't stink up the house as you might get with making your own cannabutter. And the best part about making the cookies at home is that you can dish out all the balls of dough, freeze them separately (on a tray) and then bag them for fresh baking later when the mood suits you. Don't have to worry about your cookies going stale or frost bitten in the freezer awaiting your need. Just bake them fresh and enjoy
Chocolope: choco-smokey flavor and a dreamy high with a strong mental shift. If you are trying to alleviate anxiety, nervousness, or lack of appetite, the Chocolope is your strain. However, smokers who are sensitive to paranoia or psychedelic effects might approach this variety with caution. Even experienced smokers sometimes report unusually comic situations due to the “high school” like stone of the Chocolope. Some consider this advice a recommendation: the chocolatey 1980s high is a euphoric and trippy blast from the not-so-distant past that can spice up any weekend.
Awesome Taste with an outstanding Balanced relief. The Haze genetics create a magical vail of relaxation that starts with the eyes and ends at the shoulders. Not too cloudy of a haze because there is still an existing feeling of motivation.
Great flavor, subtle, well rounded & smooth
Stimulating
At first there was mild anxiety because it was unexpectedly strong, and mildly dissociating. I found this overwhelming rush easily controllable when focused and productive.
Subsequent smoking has produced no similar anxiety or dissociation, definitely recommended for productivity though remember to take notes.
There's usually 2 phenos 1 which is bigger buds leans towards the cannalope haze and the other that has way more bud sites and grows more short and flowers super fast which takes more of the sides of the chocolate thai. I lucked out and have experienced only the second mentioned thai pheno right before DNA permanently sold out the remaining stock. By far the sweetest best tasting most energetic uplifting stuff i've had in my life. Makes up for the lesser yields by taste and with the energy it gives you making you much more productive in general.
I found Chocolope to be the smoothest, best tasting hybrid. It's effects are a combination of physical relaxation, coupled with a very happy, positive mental state. The best smoke for any time of day except bed time.
