I like the different names for all the strains and the idiot prior to this review needs to stop worrying about the little things in life and just sit back and relax God's gift to man. Keep up with the different names we love it.
This was a tasty and well terp’d cart. Smoked entire cart which I usually don’t, on distillate. Took this one on a camping trip and it paired with Mother Nature really well with its earthy and woodsy tones. Had lots of laughs and happy days while smoking this strain!
it's like floating on a cloud going at the speed of light. wooooooooooo
I feel very relaxed and calm really helps with my anxiety
While I’m typically don’t smoke much indica, I picked up a beautiful eighth of Dark Star at a store in DC. What first caught my attention was the overwhelming reddish-purple hue that was especially apparent when a quantity was seen in a jar. Next, the aroma is floral, uplifting and has a distinctive fruity scent. The buds were large and perfectly trimmed, covered in frosty trichomes. I smoked it out of a bong and the taste was smooth and gave a creeping body euphoria that reached my legs in minutes. I was relatively alert but soon became lazily comfortable and ready to sleep. Oh and the munchies are strong here!
One of the best, helps my pain, gives me energy to play in the garden, like the old days
Recently had dark star for the first time. Very nice head high and it had a peppery taste while smokin.
Seems like ganja & meditation would go together like peanut butter & jelly or glove in hand. But after having an ex with a peanut allergy & a leather glove fetish (yes, same person) came the realization that things aren't always that simple. Just because there is a mysticism around this plant being used for ritualistic endeavors to find and personalize our God experience in many societies dating back to prehistoric era doesn't mean it can help us transcend into a higher or lower state of conscious. This of course depends on the intention of course with level of standard, but most pot I've found does not aid in meditative practices. Doesn't mean we cannot use almond butter & say keep the gloves on, but spank lightly ;P
Dark Star is one of the few exceptions to me as being a cannabis that compliments my meditative practice in gentle usage. That practice is a simple 5-20 min actually timed with an app that has a cool gong sound so there is no need for any focus except to keep coming back to here & now. I sit up, don't block out outside stimuli just use it as a tool to redirect me back to right here, right now. Pot is amazing for so many things, but not getting me to sit still, focus directly on not focusing without
1. going off on a tangent in my head. 20 minutes daydreaming about blah, blah, blah.......
2. the all powerful "munchie", that craving comes in small, but 30 seconds later the only gong I'm waiting for is the toaster oven with some nachos.
3.More often sleep is the culprit with sitting up being enough to keep me transcending staying conscious. As the years pass there is no safeguard from nodding off except standing which takes the calming effect away. Sativa or not weed relaxes me to the point of sleep more often than not.
Dark Star named appropriately for its ability to take us to cosmic levels in the deep space of our soul. With a funky earthy smell that puts out clove-like incense smell reminiscent to something that might be smelled at an ancient ritual, but super dank.. Was lucky to get some from TJ's which usually prices me out, but honestly it is quality & worth the price so not complaining. Not to mention TJs service to our cannabis community. And talk about cosmic didn't realize it but now that at home the strains "Stella Blue", "Dark Star" & "Deadhead OG" were my dispensary hopping choices this evening. Listening to Candyman while rolling a threeway Grateful salad joint and this dark star will crash being smoked into ash.....
