Dogwalker OG reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Dogwalker OG.
Wife says, she gets high! Well, duh... it’s good pot, what else can I say! One could be persuaded by others or what evidence growers bring to the table about a particular strain.. it’s important to a enthusiast to be lead in the right direction when buying your weekly dose!
I would buy this again simply because I’m always smacked beyond the norm when I smoked the ol’ walking Dogg, lol... the body has a clean fuzzy buzz, while all the reasons one smokes’ is also illuminated to its image!!
I write each review in the mornings, after dosing the same amount of each strain, never crossing strains or mixing, and if I’m smoking out of a glass piece it’s always clean. While my strategy with smoking is a mix of sorts, I enjoy ‘RAW’ rolling, organic, GMO free, tobacco free products!
Picked up in 800mg distillate form in Florida at Trulieve. Then used to make edible chocolate. They came amazing! Absolutely love the Dogwalker effects. Note - mine was called "Dogwalker", not "Dogwalker OG"..unsure if the same lineage. As an edible it took away all pain and replaced it with happiness. Felt giggly, relaxed and uplifted. Would get hyper type waves where I had energy, and then they would go away. As someone who is sensitive to anxiety/panic, this hybrid was great. Again, I took mine in an edible form, but as long as you don't take too much (as with any THC product), this is a great strain. Would love to try in flower.
I have a large collection of
Assorted brand's and strains
of vape cartridges. I use the
Dog walker when I need
Something strong for pain
that's easier to smoke.

Recommended to me last summer by a budtender who said it was great for PTSD. In few words: IT IS. It’s a nicely balanced hybrid that definitely hits more indica.
Dawg Walker OG is a strain that allows me to function on my most anxiety-ridden days with the zen serenity of Keanu Reeves in the Matrix and in real life (no, YOU’RE breathtaking!). I had a half gram joint of this after smoking a little earlier this evening, and I was feeling ok but slightly triggered, and now I feel GREAT. I feel more confident and grounded and ... prepared, if that makes sense. PTSD has a way of making you feel both defenseless and on the attack at all times, and Dawg Walker eases that.
The flavor is SPICY, with some lemon and pine on the exhale - especially the pheno from Soulshine Cannabis (I am fortunate both to live in WA and work in the industry).
Now that the high has settled in (Dog Walker is a bit of a creeper), I feel relaxed in the body as well as the mind. (There’s a reason Soulshine formerly packaged this bad boi as a “hybrid”, but it is definitively on the couchlocky side; hence its current “indica” categorization.) This is a perfect strain for doing work - but only if “work” refers to a predominantly mental task. It’s definitely not a very “active” strain for me; it’s too physically relaxing for that. That being said: Dog Walker is a pleasant choice for a low level of physical activity like the name might suggest. ;)
In short: if you are a person who carries stress or trauma in their body (and let’s admit: we all do) a bowl of this strain will treat you about as well as a professional massage, or an hourlong chat with a trusted friend over a warm drink. Dog Walker OG does the body good, especially when you’re in need of some solace :)
This is one of my favorite crosses when it’s done right, indoor flower is super tasty and gassy and can develop a bit of sweetness that needs extra flavors!
This strain is unearthly!
Every season has a reason like every strain has a purpose. Balance, calm and focus come to mind. Earthy taste and pungent. I feel like I can take the world on calmly. 💚✅
It’s pretty good. It’s a real knockout for me personally, I kinda pass out every time but it’s good for sleep.
