Dream Queen reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Dream Queen.
This is listed at the dispensary as a sativa strain (and many online canna sites). However, at 25% THC, Terps: bCary 0.268%, Myrcene 0.329, Limonene 0.317% and other terps <0.0x, Dream Queen flower, surprisingly (but not disappointingly!) I experienced an almost immediate, beautiful, blissful indica💜 high - RELAXED: serene mind AND body. Pain & muscle spasms at a tolerable level. Thanks AgriKind & Keystone Shops!
Tastes really great and smells ridiculously good. Super sticky buds. Got a hint of anxiety with this sativa. Which is typical for me with sativas. But this is a great strain.
Smells amazing , a fruity sweet scent. I keep wanting to smell the flowers , just had a bowl, has me a little tingly and feeling like I’m in the clouds , Moderate munchies , dry eyes and mouth. This will definitely put me to sleep , I’m struggling to stay awake as I type this .
I'm definitely NOT a Stoner... just a novice smoker looking for occasional inspiration, creativity, and energy.
I typically do a PAX hit two or three times a year when the mood strikes. I'm a scientist, engineer, and explorer of the Universe. Sometimes it is possible to discover more of the Universal Truth through chemistry.
Throughout High School and College, my best friends were Stoners. I was even a Roadie and Sound Master with a budding Rock N Roll band during the peak of the Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith years.
I never liked cannabis, though, because it made me super paranoid. I hung around with my Stoner friends - went to more than 100 Grateful Dead concerts - but rarely or nearly never smoked. There were, of course, other chemical means used to help our exploration and discovery of the truths of the Universe.
In the late 80's - when cannabis was still extremely illegal - my girlfriend and I did a fairly large indoor Indica grow in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. That was a very cool - and sometimes frightening - experience.
So...on to the review.
During a recent trip to Portland, I selected this strain - and a few others - because of its low "paranoia" level.
Wow! For the first time ever, I did not get ANY sense of paranoia at all. I never knew that this could be possible with cannabis.
After taking a couple hits from the PAX, it took about 10 minutes for the onset of effects. The buzz was somewhat uplifting, but definitely NOT a high energy boost. While I didn't want to get up and do yard work (it was cold and dark outside), I did enjoy hanging out by the firepit and even playing frisbee with my Aussie. (Yes...she catches the frisbee in the dark. I can't even see it, and she chases it down and catches it EVERY time.)
This strain also did not spark a great deal of creativity, but it did open up my senses. I found myself noticing typically insignificant stimuli which would otherwise have been normally filtered out. My mind was very alert, but my mental acuity was diluted.
It was as if my exploratory senses were reactivated. Instead of a typically LAZY BRAIN just paying attention to all the obvious stimuli around me - such as the blazing firepit - my filters were reduced and I noticed for the first time the individual trees, shrubs, and other "secondary" inputs around me.
Overall, I would consider Dream Queen to be a great strain to achieve a comfortable and relaxed state of discovery and exploration. I could envision it to be great for a late night hike along the river with the Pups.
I like it
Really pleased with the way this made me feel. Oddly clear-headed and not much of a body high, so I don’t feel sleepy or lazy. Great for smoking throughout the day.
Nice fluffy buds, decent crystal saturation. The hit is smooth and noted by subtle flavors. Definitely good for a one hitter or a chillum; one or two good rips and you got your head right.
It's a solid hybrid, very balanced and potent. Smells like blueberries!
