most people associate sativas with creativity, but this hasn't been a reliable predictor for me; some indicas (cactus, god bud, purple arrow, moby dick) get my creative juices going - and this is one of them. after vaping this (tasty, grape-y), my plan to watch movies got shoved aside in favor of playing/recording music; nothing else would 'scratch the itch' - that sense of almost 'urgency' was there - and it was potent too. this one made it into the top third of my strain list. worth picking up if you want a non-jittery creative strain.

I really like Grape Ape, the flavor and effects are indica'rific!
as a daily smoker, this strain isn't something is pick to get totally stoned for something important... It's a nice clear high that relaxes you and interests you. I'm not knocking it at all, it just doesn't make me feel high, more so medicated and sleepy
3/5 Firstly let me say this isn't a top shelf phenotype of GA just decent looking crystal coated purple $10/g nugs so I guess I can't give it an a completely accurate review but I've had GA multiple times from many growers and collectives and this was the best I've personally seen, I uploaded a pic as well courtesy of Life's Rx so here we go. Off the back the nugs are kind of fluffy with ALOT of deep purple more than I've seen on good GDP but with darker green hues instead of the lighter kush green. Generous crystal coating not a lot though, The smell upon first whiff is definitely a hint of berry maybe grape? Lol Followed by a mild leafy piney smell. Upon actually breaking into the bigger nugs the smell was much more pungent, retaining some of the original aroma which was just a stronger version of what I just described, whiff of berry first, a hint of citrus, and finished with a piney scent, not bad. The smoke is what really kind of killed it honestly definitely a "smelled better than it tasted" bud and it didn't smell thaat good so..yeah. The taste was smoother than anything else firstly, followed by a touch of berry and followed out with a grassy piney taste that kinda lingers in your mouth. All in all not a bad strain but not something I would go out of my way for or out of my wallet. I have a picture attached so you guys/gals can get a better grasp of the quality of this pheno.
👍 Top Notch strain... ☄..!!❣ This is a great Indica strain🌱, and for couple years now has been pretty consistently available here in the 3rd coast. Has become a true H-town staple!❣! 🌿👽🍲
When it comes to indica flower power grape ape is one of my top favs. It's amazing when you're in pain or stressin. A fine assistant to stretching, aids well with anxiety and the turpenes are always just melt in your mouth delicious. Overall: GRAPE APE is THE sticky purple punch plant.♡ Cons: I run out.
Grape Ape always hits me as a Sativa, very anxious and uncomfortable. I absolutely love the flavor though! Tastes like a dank vineyard. I wish I could find a cut that hit like an Indica for me.
Lovely medium-full smoke suitable for a joint under the stars. Notes of wood and berry are reminiscent of moderately complex cuban but sweeter and not as serious. A great nighttime wash-over-me high without being heavy or mind numbing, which I found to be particularly well-suited for alleviating joint pain before bedtime with zero anxiety-driven effects.
