Harlequin reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Harlequin.
Really 4.5 stars because of one major downside, but it's a personal thing and not necessarily the fault of the strain.
I love Harlequin -- it helps so much as someone with serious executive dysfunction issues stemming from ADHD, plus helping smooth out my moods. The high CBD and low-ish THC mean I don't get wicked blasted, which is great for when I'm wanting a little nudge to get shit done.
The only gripe I have is that it gives me MONSTER munchies.
very mild high pretty relaxing but the high doesn't last very long. it did not help me with pain at all. if anything it made me focus on the pain more.
I suffer from debilitating OCD/anxiety and chronic back pain. Most strains (even those around 1:1) usually make the OCD/anxiety worse...the obsessive thoughts bounce around like a pinball machine. Some of the other higher CBD:THC strains I've tried have not had much effect. Harlequin, on the other hand, seems to be the answer for me. It's just enough to take the edge off, but doesn't launch me into full blown paranoia. It is also excellent for treating the back pain!
Great strain! It helped a lot with my ailments, I will keep this on my rotation of flower.
Tired of restless Sleep? Anxiety and Those Feelings of Panic or panic attacks in general. You have Pain and REFUSE to subject yourself to Big Pharmas opiate Madness. LOOK NO FURTHER. I can’t say anything else except Try it and you WILL see. This Strain Embodies the Word Medicinal in Every Sense. May you find it and find relief.
I tried this in co2 cartridge. At first I thought this was a serious lightweight strain, don't be fooled. For me the effects were delayed. After my session I started to feel relaxed but didn't get the typical gum numbness untill half an hour in. The effects felt short lived and after 2 hours I started a 2nd session for the night. That kicked me pretty hard. This provided a nice body relaxation without the same giddiness. It however did little for stopping muscle spasms, but I wasn't as disturbed by them. Nice short body high at low dose and possibly easy to dial in your session length given enough time between short sessions. nice mild head high, so I could possibly see this as a daytime strain. Fyi this made my eyes hyper red for an extended period of time. This has been short lived with other strains and delivery methods.
Harlequin so far is a fantastic daytime strain for me. I smoke daily to combat symptoms of ADHD, anxiety, depression, and PTSD, as well as chronic migraines, and back and hip pain (wow, I really sound like a mess when it's all listed like that). Since I'm relying on cannabis to do most of the work here, sometimes I have to smoke so much that I become spacey and confused, which is not really the state I want to be in 24/7. Okay, it's not really the state I CAN be in 24/7.
So I jumped at the chance to try this high-CBD strain when it came in to my usual dispensary, and while I can't expect any single strain to solve every problem I have (still coming to terms with this; is it too much to ask for a magical strain that will cure all my illnesses, clear my skin, water my crops, and inflate my bank account by $50000???), this strain is a great base for daytime smoking. It really cuts the edge off my anxiety and lifts my mood a bit without making me feel (or act) high. Not to mention, I've had much better results with pain management with this strain without such a high dosage that I have to go lay down (I've not had a migraine in the three days since I bought this strain, so haven't had a chance to test it on that).
I will say that if you're used to higher THC strains, you'll probably be waiting for whatever level of "high" that means you've smoked the right amount. With this one, it may not come! But, at least for me, many of the benefits are still there. I have also had success mixing it with a little indica-dominant hybrid on days when I'm at home and the anxiety or pain is particularly bad. Try mixing Harlequin with your favorite high-THC strain! It pays to experiment!
My go-to strain. Compliments my capsules well
