Jesus OG reviews

This is a strain brought to us by the talented and creative folks at TGA Subcool seeds. They have a pretty impressive resume of strains they've introduced to the cannabis community like Space Queen, Jack the Ripper and Querkle just to name a few. And this one might be their best. I had read about this strain on the TGA website and found it most alluring. I was browsing the menu at Spectrum caregivers and much to my pleasure I saw they were carrying this particular strain. Without any trepidation I purchased an eighth and was on my way to embark upon the discovery of Jesus...OG that is. First I must say the purveyor of this strain did an exceptional job of growing it. Expert technique from what I could discern from the buds I obtained. Perfectly cured and trimmed. A cross of Hell's OG (f.k.a. Hell's Angel OG) and Jack the Ripper we are bestowed with a most potent and tasty strain. Spherical buds encased in gleaming trichomes and soft orange hairs carry more of the aesthetics of the Jack side of the family then the OG side. The OG most certainly presents it self in the intoxicating aroma. A mash up of citrus and strawberries colliding with mint and fresh pine permeate through the room once the jar is open. Upon inhalation it's at first spicy and almost astringent with immense lung expansion. The exhale reveals the OG mother with pine and fresh earth dancing on the tongue. The high sets in almost immediately wrapping itself around your eyes and forehead. After couple of minutes it envelops the entire body wrapped in it's narcotic and soothing blanket. As sedated as the body is laziness is not a word I'd associate with this strain. The head is heavy but alert and lucid. I could feel pure elation wash over me leaving my face adorned in a smile. I wouldn't say this is a 'working mans' strain, though one with a more seasoned tolerance could most certainly complete tasks but I feel like this strain is best suited for more leisurely activities where one can be in the moment and mindful. This is one of if not the best strain I've had the pleasure of consuming. If you have the pleasure of finding Jesus you'll know the true meaning of blessed.

This strain makes me feel like how I imagine I should feel as a “normal” person. My anxiety is stripped away and replaced with a peaceful calmness that is still oddly alert. I can do anything anytime with this strain. A movie? Yes. Hiking? Yes. Arts and crafts? Totally. I am telling you try this stain. Just please save some for me!

I’ve had over a dozen smoke sessions with this strain, and I can definitely say this is a heavy hitter. When opening the jar, the dense citrus aromas combined with salt/savory undertones will grab your attention immediately. The buds are very packed together. It’s quite satisfying seeing how a small bud can go for 2-3 hits. If you’re on a budget with your budget going to the dispensary (like me) this is a great bonus. After 2 hits, I would recommend waiting a few minutes, even for experience smokers. Like many OG strains, it packs a punch. Another nice thing is that it doesn’t give you insane munchies, which can be nice since that’s more rare to find. There are a few downsides to the Jesus OG. It will give you a dry mouth and eyes. If you’re planning on being out and about and want to be discreet, I would recommend a different strain for that situation. Very important: make sure to drink water right after you smoke this strain, you will be blessed 1-hour later 🙏 And probably good to hold off from anything alcoholic for 1-2 hours after your smoke. I know a lot of us like to double dip but this isn’t the one to do it on lol

I definitely would buy it again. Can't say for sure this is why, but after smoking for the night, I always woke up the next morning pretty happy and energetic. I'm usually really tired and drained, so that was a lovely reaction.

THIS SHOULD BE AN 8;star, I had tried this in vape, it was great, but flavor was bad, i noticed it was expired n the dispensary promptly returned it...but remember the closer to the expiration date the more carts were missing.were all expired. Thee oil was very dark....I had bought 2-1, screwed on second cart with VERY NEW PKG DATE.......NOW this claims. 88.3% THC. WOW WOW, WOW,,,,,,FRUITY, SMOOTH N ACHIGH THAT WAS SMOOTH YET ALLOWED U TO SPACE OUT N JAM A BIT. I DONT FIND this often BUT EVERY TIME I SEE IT.... I’ll take two ounces please!!!!! PLEASE!,,,,,, That n some PAPERS ( RAW), n before this night ride was ending it was gorgeous to see the stars one last night. Still.......one of the BEST, INEXPENSIVE, STRAINS ON THE MARKET, VAPE OR FLOWER,.....ITS A 5 star!!!!!!!! Enjoy Voodoo

I wasn’t that impressed buds looked great tho they were blonde bids with some red hairs and kinda dense smaller buds . It smelled real nutty when I opened the bag . I got a oz from rize in iron mountain made by tri med it cost 128$ . Upon tasting it slight lemon nutty with a touch of skunk on the backend. Then strain made me more tired than stoned helped with my anxiety bigtime gave me the munchies biggtime in fact i fell asleep and woke up super hungry. This is sleeper dope me and my buddies call it . Im not into that i like getting ripped before i get tired. I did not like this strain and won’t buy it again

I'm vaping Select Strains Elite Jesus OG tonite, because I waked and baked with Platinum Kush earlier today, which forced me to take a nap and wake and bake again :)  but this time obviously with a sativa because hey, it's Saturday and I need to enjoy it and not sleep it all away.  I made myself a cup of Trader Joe's Columbia & Sumatra House Blend and between the two could feel myself becoming more awake. Jesus OG smells and tastes like earth with citrus, and did seem to give me the energy I was wanting.  I also feel happy - so much so that I pulled out an old Richard Simmons tape, Dance Your Pants Off!   and I could NOT stop smiling and soaking in Richard's fun and positive energy!  This particular cartridge tested out at 81.3 % THC and 1.97% CBD.  I can see where this would be a good strain for depression, because it did noticeably elevate my mood.   While this is nice and all, there just isn't anything extraordinary about this one for me, and I probably won't buy it again in concentrate form, though I would like to try it in flower form to see if the effect has more layers to it.

JESUS Saves. Wow. I’ve never had an Indica that’s awakened and clarified my mind in such a mellow way. This is something I can use to manage anxiety and work. My experience was with a moxie cart.
