Layer cake by District cannabis 29.66 % THC (Wedding cake X GMO) X (Triangle kush x skunk #1) sativa dominant Layer cake is a heavy hitting strain with a strong high 7/10. My batch was pretty old so the smoke and smell profile wasn’t as strong. Overall I give it a 6/10

I have debilitating chronic pain in the lowest part of my spine, so I look for the terpenes that lessen pain and inflammation. I found Layer Cake, made by “Modern Flower Hydrid Buds” and saw the high b-myrcene 1.46, caryophyllen .44, Limonene .42, humulene .12 and 9-thc .56 thca 28.51 I knew this would kill my pain and muscle spasms, also anxiety. It hits fast, right into the head and down the body. It’s an analgesic, but works so much faster and last as long as I need…when it wears off I’ll take another hit. I’m not a light weight, I’ve been smoking for years, I just don’t abuse it. It’s my medicine, so all I need of Layer Cake is one small bubbler bowl to feel this sweet and earthy tasting cake take over. It smells so good to, good medicine…smells of piney, earthy goodness. All I need to do is lay back and allow Layer Cake to take me to a place where I’m floating and have no pain.

One of the best strains i’ve had , no exaggeration whatsoever. you can smoke a small .7 of a gram and be straight for hours still feeling the buzzing in your face. super chill

I tracked this one down for its GMO heritage. In a Botanist manufactured vape, it didn’t disappoint. It has some of the intense euphoria of GMO (where you feel ‘more human than human’) but I also experienced a pleasant emotional lability, like crying at my favorite music. Tingly sensations in the face and enhanced appetite. Quite uplifting. Taste on inhale has the vanilla, cake notes with hints of cinnamon—finishes with a crackle of menthol. Relative smooth.

Amazing night time strain. Although I was so high I couldn’t sleep. Amazing pain relief.

Excellent strain, very pungent indeed. Helped me relax so much that I fell asleep. Overall, great high.

Hey ready to chill, not couch lock, but listening to some music, foot hopping, entire body relaxed, yet, simultaneously a bit energized. It’s a whambam, that’s for sure- positive, upbeat, chilled, kind of like you’re the silver tip of a jetliner coast in along, sometime you go up and down but always attached and floating…

This is one of my absolute favorites. My husband has dubbed it the ‘5 year old blend.’ When I’m having a bad brain day, a couple hits of this turns me into a giggly 5 year old. Complete with zero filter when it comes to sharing whatever whacky goofy thoughts pop into my head at any given notice. I’m extremely easily amused, mischievous, and I feel like I’m floating through life on a cloud. That being said, I also need a bit of ‘herding’ to get anything done that requires any significant brain power. My husband thinks I’m absolutely *hilarious* when on this stuff though, and doesn’t mind the herding, so that’s a plus! Definitely a potent head high, but later on I feel the body high kick in and then it’s smooth sailing to bedtime. This stuff has been a life saver for anxiety and depression. I have ADHD too and I will say, it does not help ADHD. If anything, makes it a bit worse due to the spacey feeling at first. But for the other benefits, it’s 110% worth the lack of focus if relief from bad thoughts is what you need. Just don’t expect to get anything done after an hour or two into the high, haha. Highly recommend.
