this strain is an awesome daytime. i got on here to clear up one thing tho. the name of the strain fooled me into always thinkin this was gonna b some crap where they were trying to land a "birthday cake" flavor sprinkles n all n ive always just ignored it n grabbed something else😢. this taste nothing link that. to me it has a classic strong weed taste the smell is super funky not like somethin i would want to eat hell i didnt think it would even taste good based on the smell but was pleasantly surprised! enjoy
In the UK under medical its sold as wedding layer, however it's the same strain, tastes great , prefer it smoked over vaporised, very good when you need to take a break but want to get back on it after an hour or so
Very potent flavor with cake lemon sweet butter vanilla herbal peppery skunk and earth flavors perfect for early morning tokes and late night music vibes very euphoric relaxing and the high lasts long the most important thing about it is that it makes you extremely uplifted and creative essential for people that struggle with anxiety.
Layer Cake has been excellent for pain relief. Headaches, back pain, etc. I can’t seem to find it as often as other strains, so when I see it, I grab it. Super smooth and a very relaxed/euphoric high. I’d smoke it every day with no complaints.
As someone with extreme anxiety, since I’ve gotten back into smoking, I’ve been mainly using indica products. I feel like layer cake is a good 50/50 hybrid, feels super relaxed but not in da couch lol. Overall just relaxes my brain and my thoughts which is a big plus for me. For beginners, go light at first. Overall tho this is a good strain, definitely recommend for anxiety and/or depression

Overall decent strain.. my only complaint is the harsh, earthy taste it’s harsh on the throat. Other than that it is very calming and helps with overthinking and anxiety. Good afternoon strain as it does not give too much couch lock. Got mine from District cannabis and does not look like the stock photo it is darker and less terps.
relaxing but not tiring; smoky/tobaccoy flower smell before combustion; proportionally calms the brain way more than the body; still quite able to operate; helps with focus despite the indica-ness; definitely enjoyable
