Mango Dream reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Mango Dream.
Mango Dream is one of my favorite strains. Maybe it's the power of suggestion, but it does indeed taste sweet and tropical, a nice smooth smoke. The effects are immediate; I can feel my head start to "shift" before my first exhale. This one gives me moderate amnesia and low-to-moderate munchies - it's really not a big appetite booster, but it makes me horny as hell. My wife LOVES me on this stuff!
I get 4-6 hours on a strong dose. It's a quick rise/plateau, a nice, steady ride for a few more hours and a gentle return to earth. I felt energized, but not at all paranoid or jittery.
The nugs were remarkably dense. 7 grams took up less than 1/2 my scale. They were sticky and fresh.
5/5
I favor Sativa's mostly because of their energetic qualities. Mango Dream offers just that, but only for around 20 minutes. After a short period of time the energetic high cruises down to a very mellow sleepy high which gets in the way of productivity. This strain tastes great and feels amazing once smoked. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nice "before bed" bud.

Smells great tastes better. Awesome head high. I cleaned my apt very energetic on this strain.
This strain combines two heavyweights in my humble opinion. Blue Dream has made a name for itself among the sativa strains in a big way over the years and when you combine Mango's taste and overall aesthetic, you have something pretty special! Get ready for an intense energetic high with loads of creativity. Definitely a morning medicine.
Does anyone saw the purple on the inside of the nug?
This is the perfect daytime smoke. I feel awake and alert without any anxiety. It comes with a nice amount of body high, but probably not enough for patients seeking pain relief. I also feel highly creative with enough focus to actually do something about it. The flowers really do smell just like mango. The smoke is a tad harsh, but sweet tasting. I want to go out and buy more right now!
Ordered an eighth of Mango Dream from a local dispensary and got one giant gorgeous nugget of relief. Dense and so sticky I was rolling finger hash off my fingers after rolling a J. Instant uplifting relief from my chronic mental diseases. Not a bit of sedation or lazy effects whatsoever. I find this strain very good for morning smoking as it gives a nice cerebral buzz that makes you want to get up and get stuff done. Wonderful fruit and citrus flavors from this strain. A must try for any hardcore sativa fans like me. If you love Blue Dream you will love this strain.
I haven't been able to confirm the genetics of this strain. the only rumor I've heard is Blue Dream x Mango, but that doesn't seem right based upon the effects. Anyone have any ideas? I acquired a sample of this strain at Oregon's Finest in PDX. I got a sample because it was sick frosty. The loosely packed buds appear a shade lighter green because of the crystals. Bright orange hairs of medium density are interwoven throughout. The smell is subtle, smelling slight of mint. Grinding was easy but still left a sticky resin on my grinder. Vaping at 380F produced a medium density vapor. Taste is a more musty flavor than anything else.
The effects of this strain come on slowly. I initially rated this strain lower because the effects are fairly mild. This strain provides both a medium grade mind and body load. Not overwhelming at all. Just causes a mild distraction. Not a couch lock strain at all. More on the active side. Helped my nausea without causing extreme munchies. Helped my muscle spasms and pain but not to the level of a purple indica.
Overall, I like this strain better than I expected to. It's a daytime strain. I don't think I could rest or sleep within a few hours of medicating. Good for nausea and stress. Ok for pain control and muscle spasms. Although I didn't get anxious or paranoid, I can imagine that in a less controlled environment, I might. The overall effect is spacey and I tend to like more clearer headed strains, so this a not a top shelf strain for me, but still worth the occasional excursion. -si
