Mango Kush is primo cannabis with all the bells & whistles of a legendary strain. That is, of course, without a doubt if there is enough cash in your pocket to fork over. As a big fan of this extraordinarily tasty bright orange flavor packed super buzz worthy flower it is usually top tier. The reality is as cost conscience as we all have to be at times this is a strain worth paying for. Having recently tried at two separate dispensaries some budget Mango Kush it was a big let down.
Not to sound too spoiled, but my feeling is that some strains are exotic or hold their own. This only seems to be possible if that extra time, money, and love is put into growing the cannabis. Of course it does a great service to poor folks who just need to get by until payday. On the other hand it does the top notch strains a disservice by lowering the quality of that flower's reputation. Pushes consumers away, makes cause for less breeding of a quality flower, or may turn off a patient to their much needed medicine.
MANGO KUSH nuggets are fluffy & dense at the same time almost like a sponge packing more than meets the eye. The buds look orange, like bright almost fluorescent reminding me a of a carrot. Green is the color, but with so many thick hairs of popping brightness all else goes unnoticed. Unmistakable smell of tropical sweetness very similar to a mango, maybe pears. Very much a sweet tone on the inhale with a deeper spicier conifer tree mix up on exhale.
Not a creeper at all with barely enough time to focus on the distinct notes on tastebuds before taking flight. Really appreciate how euphoric this herb makes me feel. Not overly sleepy at all, but at peak of relaxation. Positive thoughts. Great for meditating. Don't lose focus so it can be a day or night strain although usually has a higher percentage. I get stoned every time =) Sometimes every time for 3 times in a row when in pain with this sweet orange weed alleviating the hurt and my rambling......
Great for chilling and munchies- watch a movie :)
I love this strain. It creeps up slowly with the mind high, and doesnt hit too fast. Then, the body high comes in slightly a little while later. Nothing is too jarring, it’s super euphoric, and just helps me take a bit to relax.
Ok I’m not the most avid smoker I just recently started smoking again and this was the first strain I tried when I got back into it(before I never really knew what I smoked i just smoked what my friends did). I highly recommend this strain it is absolutely amazing, but I only recommend this strain if your gonna be inside your house chilling because I shared half a 1 1/4 joint with a friend and the sativa was there for a good 30 minutes and then it sent me into a fever dream like state where I would be in and out of like an intense focus on something and then I’d come back for a few minutes and it loopss until I passed out 3 hours later and slept like a ducking log.
Mango Kush is a very confusing but wonderful strain in my opinion. I have now been using it for 11 days and I have to say I really enjoyed it. So why did I rate it a 3 Star you may be thinking? Is because it’s effects are confusing, let me explain. If you consume a small amount you will feel slightly energised and focused which I learnt when I used it while I was decorating my house but as soon as you pass a certain threshold you become seriously relaxed and sleepy so you have to find that threshold to make sure you get the effects you desire. Once you find the threshold it is a very enjoyable strain, but I do recommend that you purchase a lot of snacks as Mango Kush gives you serious munchies like I can’t remember the last time I ate that much when I was high.
All and all I would recommend Mango Kush to anyone who needs help with eating or sleeping.
