OG #18 reviews

I have ALL-OVER body pain and the depression that tags alongside. Bought at UGH were we always let our bud tender select flower for us. OG 18 was a total surprise for me and a superb one at that! Hopefully it hangs around!

Picked up the OG 18 from Cresco. Ugly buds but amazing smell. I’m not sure if it was the strain or that I don’t often smoke Indica but I was on another planet.

excellent strain! I have horrendous insomnia and this knocked me out after I came down for the best sleep I've ever had.

This strain is one of the most helpful strains I have ever encountered in regards to pain, nausea, and anxiety. I have only used the Caviar version by Cresco Reserve in PA. I typically blend it with Lemon Sweet Skunk (Sativa with approx 18% THC) dry leaf by Terrapin. This blend helps me in so many ways. The combination with lemon sweet skunk provides a more uplifting result, in comparison to sedation, when used solo or combined with another indica. I deal with moderate to severe pain and nausea as a result of irritable bowels and other issues with my digestive system. I also get severe migraines, cramps, pelvic pain and nausea from PCOS. I have suffered from symptoms of PTSD over the years as well.I share all of this in case others with similar struggles might find some relief. OG 18 is one of the strains that allows me to get back to everyday life when pain, nausea, and anxiety, fear, or depression stop me in my tracks. Def recommend combining with a light sativa, if you don't want to be sedated.

A great cheese strain, out of all the varieties I’ve tried this one hits the right note. Nothing special about the smell, taste or look. The buds are covered in orange hairs and you can’t really see the trichomes but it’s still a decent looking bud. Perfect if you want to smoke in the day, I had a small bong hit and went for a day out. Was proper chilled, you can hold a conversation well making it fully functional option for those who need to treat depression. The high is very clear, the clearest I’ve ever had. I had a big rip on my bong and I can say that you get zero paranoia, you feel so content and happy. It comes on slowly with a nice controllable high, my vision was slightly effected especially when I was outside and if I was very stoned I’m sure I would see more visual enhancements. My new number 1 go to strain.

Plain and simply not as good as the original OG, not by a long shot in my honest opinion. It just doesn’t wow me, I bought this for insomnia and find it too focused for my tastes. If I wanted an OG with a good sativa kick I would stick with Fire OG because both high and taste are superior to this IMO. It starts out with a sativa jolt clean and clear headed then moves into a focused less relaxed version of the original OG Kush. Sedation is present but moderate it is mildly sleepy, there are just better options IMO. This is coming from a die hard heavy indica lover this just doesn’t do it for me.

I have been a fan of OG strains as long as I have known of them. with the OG #18 I believe I have found not only my favorite OG, but one of my favorite strains period. About halfway through my thumb sized OG 18 cone, I look to my left and notice I just floated by a satellite as I settle into orbit. Quite the heavy and stony strain. I have been a heavy smoker since the 80s. I am blessed to have a choice in the marijuana I smoke. I use that choice for this wonderful strain!
