OG Chem reviews

This is another one of the house strains you can pick up at Highland Health, and easily a contender with Super Silver Haze for my favorite strain they grow. However this strain is nothing like the SSH. This is a stoney, hit you right between the eyes type of smoke. The flush is very good/perfect about 80% of the time (there has been maybe 3 times out of the MANY purchases of this strain that the flush was less then perfect, but still better then many flowers I have come across), burning to a very light gray ash. The very first hit is by far my favorite, especially when I smoke this out of my Roor or in a Joint, those are by far the two methods of consumption that I feel make this strain shine. Anyways, back to what that first hit is like, it's goes straight to your dome, with thick chemy smoke that fills your lungs, and a high that rushes straight to your eyes. Coughing almost always occurs. The high continues to build into a very strong "stone" amazing body relaxation, and any daily aches and pains are memories at the moment. The intense head high is shorter lived and peaks around 40 mins, the body high and general sense of relaxation lasts much longer, generally close to 2 hours. As always the cure is the only place this bud is lacking, and keeping it from getting an 10/10, the buds are always dried, so it's not like your getting wet bud, but simply drying your flower properly is not the same as proper CURING, but as that is the only complaint I can come up with when thinking of my dear OG Chem Dawg it's hard to be too upset.

A little bit of incest is going on with this strain as OG is a descendant of Chemdog, and now they've been back-crossed to create a delicious and powerful Indica? Yeah that's what it supposedly is, but it just reminds me of a pinier Chemdog in taste and effect. 8.5/10
