Oh how I love Purple Punch. Both me and the lady choose this for late night fun with great sleep afterwards. Aside from the strong arousal this girl is an amazing strain for pain, fatigue and stress. As a mechanic I put my body through hell during the day and I usually hurt when I get home. This is one of my go to strains, as I toke I get strong grape flavors with hints of berry. My pain fades and I'm usually able (and more than willing now) to get my household chores done. Around bedtime it's great as the high is more sedative with a bigger dose/more. I feel like I'm laying on a cloud and the next morning I felt like I slept great. Definitely one of my favorites. It's great in all forms.
Instantly relaxing.
I have seen a dream. In my dream I was looking up into the purple sky. And in the sky was a great storm with a transcendent purple dinosaur shining with incandescent purple hued light. He caim to me and showed me the true meaning of the color purple. And in the end, he returned me to earth and punched me in the face....
great fucking strain. dreams of purple.
I love it. It help with my stress and help me to relax
Wife and I had a 12 hr ride form seeing family in Wisconsin. Got this strain on the way home. It took all the body aches away from riding in the car for 6 hrs. Would strongly recommend this strain.
A heavy body high, definitely a 'stone' strain. Mentally sedating as well as physically sedating. Dulling, blunting, strong earthy feeling, solidly grounding yet simultaneously a sense of drifting. A care-free mindset sets in, becoming highly present and rooted in the now. I had a good sense of time on this strain, unlike more heady strains where my time sense can become wildly skewed. Even though I felt sedated, I felt more strongly aware of the five senses, more vigilant but with a fully integrated calm attendant with that vigilance.
Gravity pulls me down into a restful passiveness; a heavy, surrounding, engulfing, Indica embrace. A zen mind state can creep in, emptying the cares and worries of the day from the mind and releasing them into the ether for the time being.
Interestingly, if I wanted to concentrate on something external, it was not very hard to do. Concentrating on the internal though, was more difficult.
Moderate vertigo accompanied this strain for me (not unlike alcohol), with dry mouth. Non-euphoric (but not dysphoric), non-dreamy, non-hungry, somewhat anti-arousing.
The overall sense I get from this, is that Purple Punch is a very primal, earthy strain. Primal feels very applicable when describing this strain. I felt more connected to my body, and less stuck in my head with worries and fears from the everyday world. It felt like going back ten millennia into the (from our perspective) deep past, and just being able to live without civilizations endless nagging worries. This is a great strain to decompress with, and just let it all go for a while and dive deep into rejuvenation, and then come up refreshed.
Harsh smoke. Unlit, smells pleasantly fruity/sweet with a minor skunky musk, and maybe a slight hoppy scent to it.
Purple punch is def a indica with a low savtiva 80/20, it is a very flavorful master piece with the taste of berry and the hint of pine with the exhale. The high is a relax in the couch and have a nice convo or sit and cuddle and watch some mf Netflix.
This 8th of 26% Purple Punch I got today has definitely hands-down tied w some other select few for favorite best strain... Another GLeaf slam dunk w huge medical & mental benefit for me personally! I love PP & all of its comforting heavy-ass indica effects.... The pepperish taste is immaculate with some hints of (my favorite) savory pine, and the various coloring of each bud is beautiful. When grinded PP looks colorful, magical, & enticing. It also gives so much kief bc all the crystals & trichomes galore. I haven't bought or used any purple strains of flower for the whole time I've been in PA like 2+ years or longer. I've been under the impression that i didn't so much care for most purple strains. So I went out on a limb today to give the purple shaded world of Cannabis a good try again after many years of being purple-free. I def see, smell, & smoke the GDP lineage & i was reminded of how much I hands-down love that bud. Mainly for medical, PP is the best option for my seizure maintenance, control, & prevention bc of its sedating, relaxing, & heavy characteristics... PP is producing a more solid & consistent deep sleeping habits, helping to manage stress & severe depression, tackling my anxiety w a more calm cool approach, and helps w the appetite. It would def be nice if the THC% could just turn it up a notch... Something at least over 30% instead of mid to high twenties would be cool... Also is entirely too pricey... However I certainly can't complain bc this Purple Punch is truly that killer-kill-kill-Devil's-Lettuce!!!
