Ringo's Gift reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Ringo's Gift.
This is my go-to for my chronic ME/CFS pain. It's actually pretty good for pain in general and is a decent insomnia aid too. It will make you hungry though. Other than that, it's good for near-couchlock relaxing, which is surprising in a 50/50 CBD strain.
So I am a former addict and alcoholic I was super skeptical about trying anything with even the slightest thc in it I am also very sensitive to said thc makes me anxious and feel like I’m tripping on acid I also suffer from depression and anxiety most the time both are 10/10 I went to my local weed shop and picked up a vape up this strain because finding the actual flower of this strain is hard to find in Las Vegas so I took just a little hit of it my experience was a slight head change for about 15 seconds after that I felt very energized and my anxiety was down to about a 1 I’m praying to god rn that this is what is gonna help me since depression meds and anxiety meds have not worked in the past I feel like anyone that has these problems same problems as I do really need to try this strain I hope by writing this it will help someone else
I started using this strain for my anxiety and CTS pain. It’s helped me to focus during the day and keeps my wrists feeling strong while typing. My work/life anxiety is much more manageable and I’m no longer paralysed and overwhelmed by small things. During the day I smoke it straight, and at night I add a little bit of THC-dominant flower. I’ve felt an overall positive shift in my mood since adding this strain to my rotation, and I feel like I’m resorting to other mood enhancers (like an after-work glass of wine/cocktail) far less often.
Doesn’t do it for me in terms of achieving and nice stoned state of mind, but then again, that’s not really what it’s for. Other than that it really does do well for easing pain, relieving stress, all that good CBD stuff. Nice and easy on your lungs as well, could smoke this stuff like I drink water.
Used this strain to help me relax at night and calm pain in my legs without being knocked down by a head high and still be able to function.
Okay, I didn't really expect these results. First, I LOVE this strain. I'm currently vaping dry herb, 370-390*F, the 20:1 phenotype (23.4% CBD, 1.2% THC).
Some background: I have lived my entire life with asthma. In the past 10 years, I don't think one day has gone by where I haven't needed to use my albuterol rescue inhaler at least once. We'll call it 7-10x per week.
I had read encouraging information about CBD and lung health, and decided to start vaping it each day (my vaporizer holds about 1/4 gram, and that gives about 15 minutes' use until it's "used up" and no longer provides vapor).
Three days after starting daily use, I noticed something: I hadn't used my rescue inhaler in three days. I kind of shrugged it off as a fluke, but did note the date.
We're at 19 days now. I haven't reached for my inhaler once.
My daily asthma attacks are GONE! This isn't some touchy-feely "I'm forgetting I'm using my inhaler"--it has a meter that reads out the number of puffs left. That number hasn't moved from 200 in 18 days.
I'm a believer. No, I'm not "cured". I'm pretty sure if I stopped using Ringo's Gift, my daily asthma symptoms would return. But I'm also pretty sure Ringo's Gift is a lot healthier for me versus daily inhalations of Albuterol.
BEST CBD STRAIN EVER! This is my favorite strain of CBD so far out of all the ones I've tried. I wish I would have found this years sooner. But so thankful I found it! My main issues that I struggle with daily are crippling anxiety and PTSD. I also have Fibromyalgia, severe migraines, severe pain, muscle spasms, stress and depression. Most other strains cause me to have a full blown panic attack or make me fall asleep. I was able to smoke a full bowl on my own, at 6am and still feel focused and alert, zero anxiety, (in fact my anxiety melted away instantly as I smoked it) and also felt creative and alert, yet and relaxed from all my stress. This strain is a God send! It also gave me an appetite, which is good because I lose my appetite with migraines and fibromyalgia. I had lost weight recently from being sick all the time. So for me, this is helpful. I'm new to CBD but have been researching it and all I know is to look for a very high dose of CBD and extremely low ratio of THC. The flower I have of Ringo's Gift has 13% CBD (450mg) and only 0.41% of thc. I also want to add that I use a variety of other CBD products such as edibles, tinctures, vape pens, flower and cbd capsules. All are helpful, but this specific strain of flower is my favorite so far! Another good strain is "Billy", which was my go -to until I discovered Ringo's Gift. I am so glad because I take less pills and medication to manage my migraines, anxiety, stress, PTSD, pain, etc! It's a winner for sure!
This strain has been a godsend for pain management. Usually I need to smoke a high THC strain to have this pain relief. It smells like sweet, piney goodness. Same on the exhale. I’m newer to CBD, but this strain will definitely keep me coming back for more. Hope to make the switch someday just to using CBD only. Maybe this strain can help with that.
