Bloom - Portland

I went to Bloom on Sunday for the 420 specials. I wanted to try some new strains, so I went with the 7gram grab bag. The seven gram grab bag was a sweet deal! I got to try a bunch of new strains for only $40. You wont find that anywhere else! The service was great too, really nice bud-tenders that were patient and happy to answer all my lame questions.

The shop itself is nice, and selection is fine. But the prices are a little ridiculous. If you don't care about price, then it's a great shop, but if you don't want to overpay shop elsewhere.

The good bad and ugly The good i have had the pleasure of meeting two employees and the owner. Its very refreshing to walk into a dispensarys and talk to employees that are educated on products and yet not completely faded, dab out, stoned like most dispensarys in town. The bad This place is huge use it. There are only 3 displays and no refrigerator. The down right UGLY Pre package products that are not scaled out in front of the customer. Back room handling of products feels reminiscent of black market deals. I get that this place used to be a bank but the glass wall is impersonal and make one feel as if you dont trust us....as in why should we trust what you grabbed out of the back room and pre bagged is what we ordered? I have never been wronged here im just making a point. I used to come here all the time because they had the best prices on concentrate but all the other dispensarys in town have sence matched price and also run deals on wed and sat that beat there price. Also on my 1st visit i was told that they dont give a free gift as advertised and that it must have been a different bloom location. I and my wife and friends have never received a VIP text. The owner is nice and the employees are nice so no disrespect to them. I just hope they learn to trust their customers and intergrate more into there beautiful store.

Great shop. I was in the area and noticed the sign and stopped by. EXCELLENT experience! The staff was super knowledgeable, patient and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend stopping by next time you are looking to score. I am a seasoned smoker and can absolutely compare Portland weed to anything one would find in Amsterdam. From the perspective of a weed tourist the only missing ingredient is having somewhere indoors to smoke. However this tourist ( from Atlanta) had no complaints. ...I enjoyed myself and the activities I engaged in while visiting Oregon. I will return to visit both Portland and the recreational marijuana store Bloom.

Not memorable. Local but generic.

I came to Bloom because I saw it here on Leafly. From all of the other places I had checked out, Bloom was calling my name. It looked like everything was organized and labeled and all of the reviews said how great and friendly the staff was. I was not disappointed. On my first visit, I had a lot of questions and a nice older lady (she looked young though) gave me a run down of the products, what they do, her preferences, etc. I told her what I was looking for and she went over that with me as well. No pressure to purchase anything whatsoever. I left the store feeling very taken care of. I ended up buying a vape pen and two diff cartridges. I noticed after I got home that one of them didn't work and since I wanted to buy a couple of sativas, I figured I go back to the source. This time I was helped by Melanie. I explained about the broken cartridge and she swapped it right out, no questions asked, and then we talked about the products in detail in the store. She was awesome! I really like this place. I ended up getting some sativas, a rollie, and crumbles. This is really a great place to come and buy medicine. The meds are strong, the medibles are amazing and taste great, and the staff really is awesome and helpful. I honestly don't think I'll be shopping anywhere else!

Massive Selection. LOVE THE CHALK BOARD. Give's it a quality feel like you'd find at a craft beer pub! I'm used to the more "pre-packed approach" as I normally shop closer to home in McMinnville but hit Portland often. Make's it quicker, easier for everyone.

Pleasurable atmosphere, friendly and very knowledgable staff, compassionate pricing, and great selection. What more could you ask for!

decent flower yet ive had a few issues with bloom. the fact that everything is pre packaged makes for high chances youll get something old or dry. happens over half the time i go. i had something dated as fat back as 2/18/15 when i purchased it at in the beginning of October. id much rather visit other shops in the area

The staff is very helpful, and courteous. The product is consistent. I have purchased many times and like it.

I went in with my fiance who had been a couple times and picked up some BlackBerry Cheesecake and LasVegas Purple Kush. Babe got a free prerole of Agent Orange and it was A1. We went home with our flowers and had a smoking party of two. I can't remember the young man's name but he knew his shit. Very helpful! Def comin back again
